AIFSET 2023: Registration (Ongoing), Exam Dates, Admission process, Career Prospects

As per AIFSET 2023 Eligibility Criteria, Candidates must have passed class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% to be eligible for B.Sc in Forensic science. Candidates who want to be eligible for M.Sc in Forensic Science must have completed their graduation in B.Sc Forensic science from a recognized University with an aggregate of 50%. 

AIFSET 2023 result is going to be released on April 25. Candidates can check AIFSET 2022 result online at aifset.com using login credentials. Hard copy of the AIFSET Score Card will not be available and hence, will not be sent to the qualified candidates either by post or by email. 

What is AIFSET 2023?

All India Forensic Science Entrance Test (AIFSET-2023) is a national level entrance test to enrol into the forensic science courses of its various participating universities. Candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in this field can apply to the course through this examination. The course duration is three years for the Bachelor program and two years for Masters Program.

AIFSET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc Forensic Science

The Candidate must have a minimum educational qualification of higher secondary school (10 + 2) or any equivalent education with Physics, Chemistry,Biology and/or Mathematics as the main subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50%.Candidates who are due to appear in the (10 + 2) examination are also eligible to apply. Candidate can attempt AIFSET exam max three times.

M.Sc Forensic Science

The Candidate must have completed their graduation in B.Sc forensic science or B.Sc in relevant subjects or stream from a recognised University with a minimum aggregate 50 percent. Those who are in the final semester of the Bachelor Programme are also eligible to apply. Candidate can attempt AIFSET exam max three times.

Guidelines for AIFSET Exam

As per growing requests by students , we have facilitated the conduct of the exam online. To attempt the exam, candidates can use Mobile or Laptop or Desktop as per their choice.

Candidates are advised to read the guidelines before attempting the exam.

  • The AIFSET 2023 exam will be conducted in the online mode and you can appear it from your mobile, laptop or desktop.
  • There will be 100 MCQ with One Correct Answer, to be attempted in 60 minutes.
  • Candidates would be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer, however there is no negative marking for any wrong answer.
  • Candidates are requested to appear at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the examination..
  • Candidates can login in the examination system using their registered mobile number.

AIFSET 2023 Result

  • AIFSET 2023 Results will be declared on April 25, 2023
  • AIFSET results will be available only on the official AIFSET-2023 website. Candidates will need to use their user login and password (created during registration process) for viewing the results on the webpage.
  • All candidates who appeared in AIFSET 2023 will be able to download their Scorecard from the official AIFSET 2023 website.
  • Hard copy of the AIFSET Score Card will not be available and hence, will NOT be sent to the qualified candidates either by post or by email.
  • All shortlisted candidates will get a common merit rank (All India Rank). All shortlisted candidates are considered as qualified candidates in AIFSET 2023.
  • The result declared is generated through Digital Medium & Enrollment into the course is subject to further verification of documents.The further process of admission will be notified to candidates by mail within 3 days from declaration of result.

B.Sc Forensic Science

B.Sc forensic science is a three - year undergraduate program that offers the study of scientific applications and knowledge that helps in the investigation of crimes. M.Sc Forensic Science

M.Sc Forensic Science is a two-year postgraduate degree divided into four semesters. The course deals with the study of crime investigations. It provides training to students that include analyzing, identifying suspects through materials found on crime locations.
