AKNUCET 2023 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajamahendravaram conducts AKNUCET for the admission into various postgraduate science and arts courses. This year, AKNUCET 2023 will be conducted on 1st May 2023 (tentative)in 11 districts of Andhra Pradesh.

  • The offline exam consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • It will be for a total duration of 90 minutes.
  • The question paper will be printed in the English Language except for the test on Telugu which will be asked in Telugu.
  • Candidates will be awarded one mark for each right answer while no mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.
  • It is a source of admission to the different Colleges of Adikavi Nannaya University and other colleges affiliated to AKNU.

AKNUCET Exam Pattern in Detail

AKNUCET 2023 will be conducted in an offline mode having objective type questions. The exam does not follow the provision of negative marking. To appear in the admission process, it is mandatory for every candidate to qualify for the AKNUCET exam.

The question paper pattern will vary with the course opted for. There is no fixed question paper pattern but it is generally based on below-mentioned points:

  • Question paper for all subjects has 100 MCQs.
  • Total marks will be 100.
  • Total time for the exam will be 90 minutes.
  • The questions will be asked in English except for the test on Telugu which will be asked in Telugu.
  • Total 8 question paper will be there for different tests based on Courses: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Geology, Humanities, and Social Sciences, English and Telugu.

AKNUCET 2023 syllabus is not predefined. As per the trend, the syllabus will be the corresponding undergraduate course that the candidate has completed in their past. Each subject has a different syllabus and different tests are conducted for the same. Total 8 question paper will be there for different tests based on Courses: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Geology, Humanities, and Social Sciences, English and Telugu.

AKNUCET 2023 Important Instructions

  • DO NOT fold, tear, wrinkle, tie, staple, do any rough work or make any stray marks on the OMR Answer Sheet.
  • If the OMR sheet or Question Paper Booklet is defective, ask the invigilator to change it at the beginning of the Test.
  • Use HB Pencil only to fill the boxes of Series code and subject Code and the circles failing which your answer sheet will be invalidated.
  • To change an answer, erase the already darkened circle completely and make a fresh mark.
  • Please obtain the signature of the invigilator in the space provided, failing which your Answer sheet will be invalidated.
