CCMN 2023 Eligibility Criteria
CCMN 2023 Counselling eligibility criteria is provided below for your reference:
- All the students applying for CCMN counselling must have qualified IIT JAM 2023 Cut offs.
- In terms of other educational qualifications, the candidates applying for the CCMN 2023 counselling must hold a graduation degree in B. Sc. with at least 60% of aggregate marks or 6. 5 CGPA.
- The candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD categories must hold a graduation degree in B. Sc. with at least 55% of aggregate marks or 6. 0 CGPA.
- The candidates awaiting their final results are eligible to participate. However, their admission will be held provisional until final submission of the relevant documents.
CCMN 2023 Counselling: Documents Required
While registering themselves for the IIT JAM CCMN counselling and for appearing in the same, the candidates must have the following documents to be uploaded to the CCMN website while filling in the admission form.

CCMN 2023 Registration Process
To register for CCMN 2023, candidates need to visit the official website of CCMN and click on the link showing 'New Candidate Registration'. After an instructions page appears on the screen, read it and tick the box at the bottom to continue.
Enter Details in the Registration Form
- Fill in the correct details in the registration form that shall appear on the screen.
- Details like the name of the candidate, IIT JAM registration id, IIT JAM exam year- 2023, IIT JAM exam paper, and IIT JAM marks shall be entered.
Choose the Password and Submit the Registration Form
- Enter the desired password and submit the form after reviewing all the details carefully.
- Save the password for future logins.

- After successful registration, the candidates will receive a confirmation mail and an SMS containing the login credentials.

Fill CCMN 2023 Application Form
After registering on the CCMN’s online portal as per the steps provided above, candidates now need to login and fill CCMN 2023 application form for educational qualifications, JAM scores, and other required credentials. Candidates also need to upload the photograph and signature in the desired format and size.
Payment of CCMN 2023 Application Fee
With the successful registration, candidates shall be redirected to the payments gateway.
- Complete the process by paying the application fee of INR 3000 for GN/ OBC/ EWS and INR 2500 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
- The online fee payment is accepted through net banking/ debit card/ credit card/ e – challan/ UPI/ wallets.
- Finally, review the admission form and click on the ‘I agree’ checkbox to reassure that all the details that have been provided in the form are true to the knowledge of the candidate.
CCMN 2023 Choice Filling and Locking
- Now, on the respective CCMN login portals, the candidates shall be allowed to choose their programs/ institutes in the order of preference.
- Candidates must choose from the list of available courses and institutes.
- Candidates can change/ edit/ delete or modify their order of preference only before locking the choices.
CCMN 2023 Counselling Rounds and Seat Allotment
- Three regular rounds of counselling shall be conducted and the seats shall be allotted to the students in every round.
- The allotment results will be visible on the CCMN website.
CCMN 2023: Payment of the Seat Acceptance Fee
- The admission shall be secured by making the payment of the seat acceptance fee on the CCMN portal.
- The seat acceptance fee is INR 15000 for GN/ OBC/ EWS and INR 10000 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
- Candidates shall download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter from their CCMN login.
CCMN 2023: Submission of Willingness
Now, the students have the option to choose between the following three choices available for seat acceptance:
- Floating: this option is available to those who wish to go for further seat upgrades.
- Sliding: this option is available to those who want to be considered for a higher preferred choice within the allotted institute.
- Freezing: And if the candidate is satisfied with the allotted institute and does not want to upgrade, she/ he must go for this option.
Online Document Verification
Documents uploaded by the candidates shall be verified in online mode by the participating institutes in which the seat has been offered to the students.
- In case of any discrepancies, the institute will inform the candidate to submit clarifications within the stipulated time.
- On the completion of the same, a document verification certificate shall be issued.
- Finally, the candidates need to complete the admission procedure by paying the remaining institute fee.
Change of Willingness and Withdrawal (Optional)
- The ‘Change of Willingness’ option is available to the students to withdraw the allotted seat and select ‘surrender and participate in the next round’.
- This kind of option is available to the candidates who had earlier chosen the ‘float’ option.
- Now, the ‘Withdrawal’ option refers to the withdrawal of interest from participating in further rounds of CCMN 2023 counselling.

CCMN 2023 Counselling FAQs
Ques. What options are available if one fails to appear in the regular rounds of IIT JAM CCMN counselling?
Ans. In case of absence in the regular round of IIT JAM CCMN counselling or if the students have not been allotted any seats in any rounds of the CCMN counselling, then they can apply through Special Rounds (SR). These rounds are conducted after the completion of the regular rounds when the respective institutes release the list of vacant seats depending upon multiple factors. Students shall have to pay a separate fee for the same and wait for the merit lists.
