CSSET Eligibility Criteria 2023: Age Limit, Criteria for J&K Candidates, Education Qualification and Relaxations 

The Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth is expected to release the notification of CSSET 2023 on February 2023. The detailed eligibility criteria with other details about the registration, admission process, eligibility criteria, application form, application fee, exam pattern are also there in the notification.

The eligibility criteria include required educational qualifications, age limit, age relaxation, and documents. In fact, there are separate educational criteria for candidates from the state of Jammu & Kashmir. The CSSET for B. Ed is going to be held on May 2023 (tentative). The application forms are available from February 2023 (tentative).

CSSET Educational Qualifications

• The candidate must have a graduation degree in BA from Sanskrit as a compulsory subject from any recognized university. In addition, he/she must have obtained at least 50% marks during graduation or equivalent grade.

OR

• The candidate must have passed MA (Sanskrit) or equivalent degree from any recognized university with at least 50% marks.
• Candidates who are appearing in the final year exams can also apply.

OR

• The Candidate must have passed a BA ( Sanskrit) two-year course from any recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
• In addition, he/she must have passed MA Sanskrit 1st year/ 1-year Bridge course/Vidwanmadhyama/Vidwaduttama examination/ 1-year Acharya Course

5% Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ differently-abled candidates

• The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 45% in the qualifying examination.

CSSET Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

The aspirant must be 20 years old or must have completed 20 years of age on or before October 1, 2023. However, there is no age relaxation to any of the categories including SC/ST/OBC/differently-abled.

CSSET Eligibility Criteria: Document Verification

The proof of the qualifying examination or passed examination is very important. It needs to be attached to the application form. However, the candidate can submit the same at the time of admission in case the result is awaited. If he/she will not submit the proof of the qualifying examination, the admission will be canceled.

CSSET Eligibility Criteria: For Jammu & Kashmir Candidates

Candidates belonging to Jammu & Kashmir can also apply. Any candidate holding a graduation degree from any institute/college/university in Jammu & Kashmir can also apply. However, their eligibility criteria for the candidates from Jammu & Kashmir is governed by the rules & regulations
