GLAET 2023 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

GLAET 2022 is an Objective type multiple choice based tests. The total duration of the test depends upon the course a candidate chooses which can be 60 minutes to 120 minutes. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks. There is a negative marking for each question attempted wrong.

GLAET is conducted for admission to various courses at GLA University, Mathura. It is conducted by GLA University officials for the admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses.

GLAET 2023 Exam Pattern in Detail

Exam pattern for each course is different. Candidates must go through details given below for their applied course carefully to get an idea of GLAET 2022 Exam Pattern. Course-wise exam pattern for GLAET Exam is as follows:

For B. Tech

  • There are total 90 objective type questions asked in the exam.
  • Question paper is divided into 3 parts:
  1. Part A-Physics
  2.  Part B-Mathematics
  3. Part C-English
  • Part A consists of 20 questions, Part B has 45 questions and Part C is of 25 questions
  • Time Duration provided for this test 120 Minutes i.e. 2 hours.

For BBA/BBA (Family Business)/BBA (H)/ B.Com

  • There are total 40 Objective type questions.
  • Question paper consists of 4 parts:
  1. Part-A- General Knowledge
  2.  Part-B- Reasoning
  3.  Part-C-English
  4.  Part-D- Mathematics
  • Each section carries equal marks i.e. 40 marks each.
  •  Time duration provided for the test is 60 minutes.

For BCA

  • There are total 45 Multiple Choice Questions asked in the exam.
  • Question paper consists of 4 parts namely:
  1. General Knowledge
  2.  Reasoning
  3.  English
  4.  Mathematics
  • 60 minutes are given to complete the test.
  • Maximum marks are 180.

For MCA/ MCA (Lateral)

  • There are total 75 questions in the exam.
  • Question paper consists of 3 sections- Part A, Part B and Part C. Each part is of 25, 10, and 40 questions.
  • Part A consists of 100 marks, part-B of 40 marks, and part-C of 160 marks.
  • Maximum marks for the exam are 300.

For MBA

  • There are total 75 questions asked in the exam
  • Question paper is divided into 4 parts that are-
  1. General Knowledge- 20 questions
  2.  Reasoning- 20 questions
  3.  English- 15 questions
  4.  Mathematics- 20 Questions
  • Maximum marks a candidate can score are 300.
  • 90 minutes are provided for the entrance test.

For B.Pharma/B.Pharma (Lateral Entry)

  • Question paper comprises 75 questions in total.
  • It is divided into 4 parts:
  1. Physics-15 questions
  2.  Chemistry-30 question
  3.  Mathematics/Biology-10 questions
  4.  English-20 questions.
  • Weightage for each section is:
  1. Physics-60
  2.  Chemistry-120
  3.  Mathematics/Biology-40
  4.  English-80.
  • Maximum marks that a candidate can score are 300.
  • 1 hour 30 minutes are given to a candidate to complete this test

For B.Sc Hons. Biotech

  • Candidates have to solve 45 questions.
  • Question paper is divided into 3 parts that are-
  1. Zoology- 17 questions
  2. Chemistry- 17 questions
  3.  Botany- 11 questions
  • Parts have the following weigtage-
  1. Zoology- 68
  2.  Chemistry- 44
  3.  Botany- 68
  • Maximum marks that a candidate can score are 180.
  •  1 hour 30 minutes are given to a candidate for the exam.

For M.Sc Microbiology/Biotech

  • Entrance Exam for this course contains 45 questions in the paper.
  • Question paper consist of 3 parts:
  1. Zoology- 20 questions
  2. Chemistry- 05 questions
  3. Botany- 20 questions
  • Parts have the following weigtage-
  1. Zoology- 80 marks
  2. Chemistry- 20 marks
  3. Botany- 80 marks
  • Maximum marks a candidate can score are 180.
  • Candidates are given with 1 hour.

For Diploma in Engineering

  • Question paper is divided into 3 parts-
  1. Physics- 15 Questions
  2. Chemistry- 15 Questions
  3. Mathematics- 15 Questions
  • Each part consists of 60 marks
  • Maximum marks that can be obtained are 180.
  • 1 hour is provided to complete the test.

For D.Pharma

  • Question paper is divided into 4 parts. there are total 45 questions in the paper-
  1. Physics- 05 questions
  2. Chemistry- 20 questions
  3. English- 10 questions
  4. Biology/Math- 10 questions
  • Weigtage for each part is-
  1. Physics- 20 marks
  2. Chemistry- 80 marks
  3. English- 40 marks
  4. Biology/Math- 40 marks
  • Time duration provided for the exam is 1 hour
  • Maximum marks that a student can score is 180

For B.Ed

  • Total number of questions to be attempted are 45.
  • Question Paper is divided into 4 parts that are-
  1. General awareness- 10 questions
  2. Aptitude test- 10 questions
  3. English- 10 questions
  4. Art/Commerce/Science group- 15 questions
  • Weigtage for each part is-
  1. General awareness- 40 marks
  2. Aptitude test- 40 marks
  3. English- 40 marks
  4. Art/Commerce/Science group- 60
  • Maximum marks that a candidate can score is 180
  • Time duration provided for the test is 1 hour.

GLAET 2023 Important Instructions

There are a few important instructions which a candidate needs to follow while taking GLAET 2022:

  • Once you click the START button, a question and possible answer choices will appear. select the choice you find to be appropriate
  • Timer of the test starts only when you click on the Start button.
  • Numbered list of the question appears on the right side of the screen.
  • Keep a close look on ‘TIME LEFT’ while appearing for the test.
  • Clicking on the choice saves your answer for the questions. Answer can be changed at any time during the test.
  • SUBMIT button appears only when you have viewed all the questions at least once. After you complete the test, don’t forget to click on the submit button.
  • You will be automatically stopped from answering the questions once the time of the test is over.
