OJEE Counselling 2023: The authority will publish OJEE Counselling 2023 schedule for various courses. OJEE 2023 seat allotment result will be published on the official website for BTech, BArch, BPlan, BCAT, and Integrated MSc courses. The final OJEE seat allotment result will be released tentatively by August/September 2023.

Counselling is conducted separately for OJEE 2023 qualified candidates and JEE Main qualified candidates. Candidates who will be allotted seats will be required to exercise options of paying seat acceptance fees and uploading documents. Check OJEE Seat Allotment 

Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of the merit lists and marks secured in the entrance examination. Candidates must note that preference is given to candidates having JEE Main score. The allotment of seats is based on the candidate’s performance in OJEE 2023choice-filled, seats available, and rank secured.

OJEE Counselling Eligibility

OJEE 2023 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Candidates participating in OJEE 2023 Counselling are required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12th for candidates belonging to General Category while minimum 40% aggregate for SC/ST candidates. Also, candidates are required to pass in all the subjects separately.
  • completed at least 17 years of age.
  • candidates participating in BAMS/BHMS counselling must have qualified NEET (UG) with a minimum qualified rank.
  • candidate’s parents should be a native of Odisha state and have to present the Resident/Nativity certificate during document verification

OJEE Counselling Procedure

OJEE 2023 Counselling Procedure

STEP-1 
  • Visit ojee.nic.in and click on NEW REGISTRATION
  • Read the Consent Page carefully and click on "I Agree"
  • Select the appropriate course
  • Enter JEE Main application number, DOB, Gender, Name
  • Click on 'Submit'

Students are advised to thoroughly read the Counselling Brochure available on the website before registering.

STEP-2

  • Provide other required details such as mobile number, email address, password, and security question to complete the registration process
  • Enter a 8-13 characters length password that contains at least one capital letter [A-Z], one small letter [a-z], one Numeric Character [0-9] and one special character [!,@,#,$,%,^,&,*]
  • Re-enter the password and complete the registration
  • SMS alert will be sent on completion of registration

Students must remember the entered password as it will be used in future for choice filling and viewing result details etc.

STEP-3

  • Click on "Application Form" and fill candidate profile like domicile, social category, special/sub-category like Green Card, Physically Challenged, Ex-Servicemen, Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme, and state of domicile, qualifying examination passed from an institute located in Odisha, parents working in Odisha
  • Click “Save & Next” to proceed to the next screen. 
STEP-4 
  • Select your qualifying examination
  • Enter the required information such as Board, Roll number, Institute, year of passing, marks secured, full marks, subject wise marks secured etc.
  • Click “Save & Next” for the next screen
STEP-5
  • Enter contact information, permanent and communication address
  • Click "Save" and complete the registration process
STEP-6
  • Pay registration fee of Rs. 450/- (online)
  • Click "Save" and proceed 
STEP-7 
  • Click on Menu> Choice Filling & Locking 
  • Read the instructions displayed on the screen and proceed to the next screen for choice filling
  • Two block will be displayed. The Left block contains list of all colleges and branches and the Right block will contain the choices filled by candidates.
  • Add the choices of colleges and branches according to your preference. 
  • Choose as many choices as desired arranged kn preferences of college/branch
  • Students must note that one college with one branch is treated as one choice. For example, College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Mechanical branch should be treated as one choice. Similarly, College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Electrical branch should be treated as another choice and so on. 
  • Students can use the SWAP and MOVE options to change priority of filled choices.
  • For Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) candidates, the Choices of colleges and branches for both the TFW seats (for example, CET, Mechanical Engg – TFW) and the non-TFW seats (for example, CET, Mechanical Engg) will be offered.
    • Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme is applicable to four year bachelor programs such as B.Tech., B.Pharm., B.Plan and LE B.Tech. 
    • Candidates whose annual family income is below Rs. 8 Lakhs is eligible under the scheme.
    • Waiver is limited to Tuition Fee only. 
    • The scheme is applicable only to the candidates who are natives of Odisha and whose parents satisfy the above mentioned income criteria
    • Submission of income certificate duly signed by competent authority at nodal center for such candidates is mandatory
  • Students are advised to use SAVE & CONTINUE button at regular intervals
  • The mock allotment results will let the candidates know their allotment status on that date as per choice filled by them. 
  • If required, candidates can alter their choice as per their preference and choice in mock allotment result
  • Choice Locking facility will be activated
  • Upon activation of Locking facility, candidates must first check whether they have made correct choices as per their requirement
  •  If satisfied, click “lock” button and lock the choice using the password and take a print of locked choice.
  • Candidates must ensure to lock the choice in due time using OTP/By Password. 
NOTE: Locking is a one-time facility. Once you have locked, it cannot be unlocked again under any circumstance.
  • In case a candidate fails to lock his/her choice, the last exercised choice will be locked automatically in the server when the given time expires
  • After completing the choice filling and locking, click on “print locked choice” button to take a print out of Filled in Choice Slip for reference.
STEP-8 
  • The allotment of seats will be based on best fitment of the rank, choice and category/reservation of the candidate.
  • Temporary Seat Allotment-I will be available as per the schedule given in the OJEE website
  • It will also be intimated through SMS to the candidate’s mobile number (if filled up during registration) 
  • Candidates can see their temporary allotted seat position from the website.
  • Candidates are advised not to report at alloted Institution based upon this allotment at this stage.
  • The process is option-based up-gradation system. This allotment position will remain as such or the candidate will be promoted to upper choice in next round of allotments, based on the option exercised
  • Once the option for freeze or for up-gradation is exercised by the candidate, it cannot be changed under any circumstances.
  • After seat allotment, candidates must
    • Exercise the option of Freeze/Float – Candidates must opt for Freeze/Float option using their own login id.
    • Upload documents – As per the profile (filled during registration), upload the required documents in pdf format only
    • Pay admission fees – Admission fees will be paid online. Allotted students have to deposit university regn fee of Rs.10,000 or 5000/- based on the category (Rs. 10,000/- for general candidates and Rs. 5000/- for SC/ST/PC candidates. Payment must only be done on an online portal through Billdesk / SBI / HDFC payment gateway by Net banking/ Debit cards/Credit cards etc. . 
  • Candidates not allotted any seat in this round are not required to do anything. They have to wait for temporary allotment-II/III for any allotment. 

Documents Required for OJEE 2023 Spot Counselling

It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the below-mentioned documents to the counselling centre:

  • Registered candidates must carry a demand draft of Rs. 5000, drawn in favour of “OJEE 2023” on any scheduled bank payable at Bhubaneshwar. Those candidates who have paid the fees and have been allotted seats do not have to carry any drafts.
  • Candidates who have not registered themselves but want to be a part of the counselling process have to carry an additional draft of Rs 1000.

  • OJEE BAMS/BHMS Registration slip
  • Class 10th certificate and mark sheet
  • Class 12th certificate and mark sheet
  • Residence certificate of Odisha (Mandatory)
  • SC/ST Certificate issued by the government of Odisha
  • ‘Green card issued by the Family Welfare Department
  • EWS Certificate from Tahsildar/ additional Tahsildar
  • List of eligible Ex-serviceman candidates is sent by Rajya Sainik Board to OJEE. Only those candidates will be considered under ES Quota.
  • PC Board report from SCB Medical College, Cuttak is with the JEE Office. Only the candidates, declared eligible by the board will be considered under PC quota.

It must be noted that B.Tech/B. Arch admissions will be facilitated through JEE Main 2020 scores, while NEET scores are used for MBBS/BDS admissions. For all other courses, the above procedure will follow. However, all candidates, irrespective of the course, need to present the below documents at the time of verification:

Ques. When will OJEE 2023 counselling be started?

Ans:OJEE 2023 counselling is going to be started from June 2023. Candidates can download it from the official website of TS EAMCET. 

Ques. What are the necessary documents required at the time of counselling?

Ans: Candidates have to carry OJEE 2023 scorecard, admit card, copy of application form, id card, EWS/Caste Certificate(If Applicable) and copy of scorecard of matric, and intermediate. All the documents will be verified the by the authority. If any candidate failed to present the necessary documents then he/she may be disqualified.

Ques. When will OJEE 2023 Results be declared?

Ans: OJEE 2023 result has been released on July 27, 2023. The result has bene released online on the official website of OJEE. Candidates can download the scorecard by entering their roll number.

Ques. Shall I visit to the university in order to appear for counselling?

Ans: OJEE 2023 counselling will be conducted online. There is no need to visit the institute for document verification. All the documents will be verified online and after that, the seats will be allotted.
