Eligibility Criteria of Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2023

Candidates applying for Rajasthan NEET counselling must meet the criteria set by the authorities to be considered for the admission. The eligibility for Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2023 is as follows:

  • For admission to MBBS course, candidate must have passed 10+2 level of education from a recognized with 50% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) having a Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology or Mathematics or any other elective subject with English.
  • For admission to BDS course, candidate must have passed 10+2 level of education from a recognized with 50% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) having a Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subject.
  • Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50th percentile (45%ile for Gen-PwD/ Gen-EWS and 40% for the other reserved category candidates) and come in the merit list of the NEET 2023 exam.
  • Candidate should have a minimum age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2023. There is no upper age limit for Rajasthan NEET counselling process.
  • As per the physical standard eligibility rules, candidate must be medically fit.
  • Candidate must be a domicile of Rajasthan for past 10 years.

All the candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying NEET cutoff 2023 as prescribed by the authorities are applicable to apply for Rajasthan NEET counselling 2023. Candidates must register for the counselling process through official website for the further counselling and admission process. The step-by-step process for Rajasthan NEET Counselling Registration 2023 is as follows:

  • Visit the official website of Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2023 at – rajneetug2023.com
  • Click on the ‘Application Part – I’ option.
  • Read all the instructions carefully and Click on ‘I Agree’ button.
  • Enter NEET roll number, DOB, category, marks obtained in class 10+2 and validate.
  • Now enter valid email ID, mobile number, other eligibility, category, select domicile state, other required information, and click on ‘Proceed’.
  • Preview the information and click on ‘submit’.
  • Pay the prescribed application fees and note down the Registration ID and Password.
  • Now login to the Application Part 2 using your credentials.
  • Enter personal information, educational qualifications, address details, etc. and click on ‘Save and Next’.
  • Upload the recent passport size photograph, signature, and other required documents as per choices made in Application Part 1.
  • Click on ‘I Accept’ in the declaration form.

Important Notes:

  • Add Date of Birth as it appears in your Class 10 mark sheet.
  • Candidates are not allowed to change the category after submission of the registration form.
  • Candidate must upload required documents in the Application Part 2 based on the choices filled in Application Part 2. For example, if you select yes in your annual income as less than INR 2.5 lakhs, you must upload income proof in the part-2 of application form.
  • No separate SMS or email will be sent to the candidate regarding Registration ID and Password; candidate can recover the same by log in to the website, whenever needed.
  • Candidate can edit their details filled in part 2 till the last date of application as per the schedule.

Rajasthan NEET Counselling Process 2023

The candidates who qualify the NEET 2023 with the minimum cutoff percentile released by the authorities are eligible to participate in the state counselling process. Rajasthan NEET Counselling is conducted for admission to all State Quota Seats in all Government Medical/ Dental College, Govt. Society Medical Colleges, RUHS CMS, RUHS CDS, ESIS MC and participating private and Dental Colleges in Rajasthan. There are total three rounds in Rajasthan NEET counselling process 2023, namely, Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-up and Stray vacancy Round. The process of the NEET PG Counselling includes following steps:

Step 1: Registration

Candidate must register by filling out the online Rajasthan NEET counselling application form 2023. Candidates are advised to fill out the form with all the necessary details, documents, and prescribed application fee before the last date of the application.

Step 2: Publishing of Merit List

Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in NEET 2023 result, the authorities will release the merit list. The merit list consists of names of the shortlisted candidates with the rank they secures and exam roll number. Shortlisted candidates can participate in the further rounds of Rajasthan NEET counselling process.

Step 3: Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates will be summoned at verification centers/ allotted institutes for the document verification. Candidates must carry all the required documents with the printed filled application form. If candidate fails to do so, he/ will be restricted from the further counselling process.

Step 4: Choice Filling and Locking

After successful verification, candidates are required to fill out the preference of colleges and programme and then lock it. Candidates are advised to fill out the choice carefully as Rajasthan NEET admission 2023 will be granted based on their preferences. Following are the steps for choice filling and locking of colleges:

  • Login using the credentials.
  • Click on ‘H.T.E’ under the ‘Citizen’ tab.
  • Select organization as ‘Directorate of Medical Education’ and Application as NEET UG (Medical/ Dental) Admission 2023 from the drop down menu.
  • Click on ‘continue’ and then ‘Fill Choice Form’.
  • Enter application ID, DOB, registered mobile number, Captcha and click on ‘Search’.
  • Select the colleges according to your preference.
  • Click on ‘Save’ to lock the choices.

Step 5: Seat Allotment Procedure

Rajasthan NEET counselling authorities will allocate the seats to candidates based on their filled choices, state merit rank, seat reservation, and seat availability of the respective institute. Candidates must pay the refundable forfeiture of fee to confirm their position at the allotted institute / permissibility to students to exercise fresh choices during counselling process. Candidates who are not allotted seat in the first round can participate in the second round without any fees. Candidate will receive their seat allotment letter via online mode.

Step 6: Reporting at the Allotted Institute

If candidates are satisfied with their seat allocation, they must report at the allotted institute before the due date. The respective institute will complete the further admission formalities such as document verification and deposit of Admission Fee/ Bond Proforma.

At the time of reporting at the allotted MBBA or BDS institute of Rajasthan, candidate must fulfill and submit a bond according to their applicability.

Bond Proforma for Medical Colleges of Rajasthan

The candidates who are allotted seats in Government Medical Colleges are required to submit a bond of INR 5 Lakhs. They also have to sign a commitment to serve the State Government for 2 years of the designated period. If the candidate leaves the course after the second round of Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2023 due to any reason, then the bond of INR 5 lakhs will be seized by the authorities.

Bond Proforma for Dental Colleges of Rajasthan

The candidates who are allotted seats in Government Dental Colleges are required to submit a bond of INR 4 Lakhs. The bond should be in favor of the principal of designated college with the bank guarantee of INR 1 lakhs. If the candidate wants to leave the course after the second round of Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2023 then the bond of INR 4 lakhs and the Bank Guarantee will be seized by the college.

15% of the total available seats in Government Medical College and Government Society Medical Colleges/ RUHS Medical College / ESIC MC/ RUHS CDS are filled up on the All India basis conducted by DGHS. 24 seats, 4 in each State Medical College (six Government Colleges) of Rajasthan of MBBS course are reserved for candidates selected under the Central Government Pool. Remaining seats are the State Seats that are filled up during Rajasthan NEET counselling with following reservations:
