- General English consists of approximately 15 questions in SNAP.

General English section of SNAP consists of: tenses, clauses, articles, sentence completion, analogies, active and passive voice, sentence correction, synonyms and antonyms, one word substitution, jump paragraph, contextual usage, Odd one out, fill in the blanks, Idioms and Syllogisms, vocabulary and comprehension.
How to study for Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability?
- Improve basic English grammar and sentence formation.
- Practise as many questions possible especially related to tenses and parts of speech.
- Read newspapers, magazines and books and try to improve your vocabulary.
- Solve practise papers and mock tests in a particular time frame.
- Learn idioms, synonyms and antonyms.

- Time-management: Certain questions and comprehension is time consuming; therefore candidates should practise as much as possible to complete the section as soon as possible.
