UGMAC Bihar NEET Counselling 2023 Eligibility
To be eligible for a medical seat in the state of Bihar through UGMAC NEET counselling, a candidate must meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- The candidate must not be less than 17 years of age as on Dec 31, 2023 and should not be born after Dec 31, 2005.
- The candidate must have qualified NEET 2023.
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% (40% in the case of reserved category students)
- The candidate must be a domicile of Bihar.
- The candidate must have passed 10+1 and 10+2 from an institute located in Bihar.
- Candidates who have completed class 11 and 12 from other states but his/ her parents are domiciles in Bihar are also eligible.

Bihar NEET Counselling 2023 Fees

UGMAC Bihar NEET Counselling 2023: Registration Process
The merit list of NEET(UG) 2023 will be shared by NTA with BCECEB based on which the candidates who have opted for Bihar state counselling will only be considered. Eligible candidates will have to fill out an online application form in order to be considered for further admission process. Below is the step-by-step process of registration for UGMAC Bihar NEET Counselling 2023.
Step I: Registration
- To fill out the application form, candidates need to click on “Online Application portal of UGMAC-2023” and then click on Apply Online.
- After clicking on Apply Online, candidates will have to enter their NEET UG 2023 roll no. and verify it along with the date of birth, email id, and other details.
- An OTP will be sent to the registered number and email ID for verification.
- On verification, all further communication will be done only via the registered mobile number and email ID.
- A confirmation message for successful registration will be sent on the registered email address and mobile number.
Step II: Fill Bihar UGMAC 2023 Application Form for Personal Information
After registration in step 1, login to proceed with the further steps in filling Bihar UGMAC application form for the asked personal information. After filling the details, click on "Save & Continue".
Step III: Uploading Photo and Signature
Scan and upload your passport-size photo same as the one uploaded in NEET-UG 2023 application form. Also, a scanned image of full signature in Hindi & English has to be uploaded. Click "Save & Continue" after completing the upload.
Step IV: Fill Academic Details
The candidate should enter his or her educational information on the dashboard and select "Save & Continue". Educational details will include the candidates' class 10 and class 12 marks and choice of subjects in 10+2 along with their scores obtained.
Step V: Confirm and Preview the Application
Confirm the information provided in the previous steps.
- If you find any information to be incorrect, select "Back to Edit" and make the necessary changes.
- If not, then select "Save & Continue".
On confirming the application form preview to be accurate, click "Proceed to Payment" to pay the counselling registration fee.
Step VI: Payment of Bihar NEET Counselling Fees
Pay the counselling fee (both refundable registration and security deposit fee) in online mode.
Step VII: Downloading Part- A & Part-B of the Application
The candidate must download the hard copy (Part-A and Part-B) of the online application form and keep it safely in his possession after paying the counselling/registration fee and security deposit by the scheduled date and time. This is necessary because it contains all the information provided by the candidate and the UGMAC-ID made available by the Board for use in the counselling process.
Bihar UGMAC 2023 Counselling Process: Choice Filling and Locking
BCECEB will release the UGMAC 2023 merit list/ rank card of all the eligible candidates on the official website. Candidates have to download their rank cards by submitting their UGMAC ID and Date of Birth.
Based on UGMAC 2023 merit list, candidates will have to fill the choices for courses and colleges. Candidates can follow the below steps for UGMAC Bihar NEET choice filling.
- Candidates will have to login using the ID and password created at the time of counselling registration.
- You can even change the options any number of times before locking. Candidates can change their choices until last day of choice locking by clicking on the "Unlock Choices" button after authenticating with the OTP they received on their registered mobile number and email.
- If the candidate does not lock the choices submitted, then these will be automatically locked on the notified date and time.
- Prior to the announcement of the seat allocation results, candidates will receive a list of their preferred choices via email and registered mobile number.
- The allocation of seats will be based on merit plus student preference.
UGMAC Bihar NEET Counselling 2023 Seat Allotment
Before the conclusion of the choice filling and locking window, the board will initially display the mock allotment based on which candidates will get an idea of the college that will be allotted to them based on the choices filled. After the conclusion of choice filling, the Bihar NEET UGMAC seat allotment result will be released.
The candidates allotted a seat will have to accept the allotted seats, pay the seat acceptance amount and confirm their admission to the allotted institute. When downloading the Provisional Allotment Order, candidates will have the option to click "Yes" for an upgrade if they are dissatisfied with the seat that has been assigned to them.
UGMAC Bihar NEET Counselling 2023 Seat Acceptance Process
All qualified candidates will have to access their accounts during the scheduled time and date, check the results of the provisional seat allocation, and get their provisional allotment order.
If a candidate receives a seat during the first or second round, he or she must appear in person at the reporting center for document verification. If he is deemed to be eligible after document verification, he can choose to enroll in the program.
A candidate's choices will be void if they choose free exit in the first round, but if they wish to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling, they must fill out new options within a set time frame.
UGMAC Bihar NEET Counselling 2023 Final Document Verification and Admission
Once the candidates have been allotted the institute and he/she is willing to take admission in the allotted institute, candidates will have to visit the institute personally for document verification. Candidates need to carry all the documents mentioned below. Candidates are advised to keep a photocopy of each document for the final submission. Once the documents of the candidate are found to be valid, he/she will be offered admission to that respective institute.
