WB JECA 2023 Form Correction will be opened after the registration process. How to Apply for WBJEE JECA 2023?

A step-by-step guide to complete the registration process is given below:

Step 1: WB JECA 2023 Registration

Visit the official website wbjeeb.in
Click on “Online Application Form JECA 2023”
Click on “New Candidate Registration”
Click on “I agree and Proceed” on the instructions page
Register by filling in information like candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, gender, identification type, and number present and permanent address, mobile number, email id, etc.
After candidates fill the application form, candidates will be required to create a password, choose a security question and answer and register themselves.
After submission, an application number will be generated.

Step 2: Fill WB JECA 2023 Application Form

After registering, click on Fill in Application Form
Candidates would be required to fill in details like domicile, category, PwD status, family income status, religion,nationality, academic details etc.
Candidates can choose any three zones of examination centers according to their preferences.

Step 3: Uploading Documents

Candidates were required to upload the scanned images of the documents mentioned in the table below:

The Photograph is required to be recently taken so that it could match the candidate’s physical features.
Low-quality images were not acceptable and were likely to be rejected.
The background of the photograph is to be of a very light color.
The face of the candidate should occupy at least 50% of the entire space for photograph looking straight to the camera.
Candidates should upload all documents at one time
Marksheets and Qualification certificates must be uploaded in pdf format of size 50 to 300 kB.

Step 4: Payment of Application fee

WB JECA 2023 Application fee will be of INR 500/- for candidates of general category and INR 400 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates
After uploading images candidates will be directed automatically to the fee payment step.
The application fee could only be paid online using Netbanking/ Debit card/ Credit card.
The fee once paid will not be refundable under any circumstances.

Step 5: Confirmation page

On successful completion of all the above steps, the candidate will be automatically directed to the option for downloading the ‘Confirmation Page’.
Application process will not be complete if the confirmation page is not generated.
The confirmation page contains information as given by the candidate and the Baord will not be responsible for any mistake by the candidate.
The candidate will be required to take a Print-out of the Confirmation Page and they should preserve the same carefully till the completion of the admission process.
The confirmation page cannot be regenerated after completion of the declared e-counseling and admission process conducted by the Board.
If any candidate loses their confirmation page, a duplicate can be provided by the Board.
In order to get a duplicate confirmation page, the candidate should apply to the Board and paid a processing fee of INR 500 by a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable in Kolkata.

Note – Candidates will need to produce a copy of the same photograph to enter the examination center, during counseling, admission, registration with the university, etc.

WB JECA 2023 Form Correction

After the successful registration and upon completion of WB JECA 2023 application form, candidates will be allowed to make corrections by visiting the official WB JECA website.

Candidates should take a note that information like candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, gender, domicile, and date of birth entered during WB JECA 2023 registration cannot be edited.
Candidates can edit other information during the application form correction window from February 3 to February 4, 2023
Any request to make changes in WB JECA 2023 Application beyond the correction period will not be entertained.

WB JECA Eligibility Criteria 2023

WB JECA is a postgraduate level exam conducted once every year by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). In order to be eligible for the exam, a candidate is required to fulfill the following –

General Eligibility:

Nationality: Students must be an Indian citizen.
Age Limit: Applying candidate’s minimum age limit should be 17 years as on 31st December 2023. Applying student must have born on or before 31st December 2004.
Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for other courses. However for marine engineering, the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st December 2023.

Qualification Eligibility (For Engineering):

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed 10+2 level or its equivalent exam recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
Qualifying Percentage & Subjects: In the 12^th level, students must have passed with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one from the Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science & Computer Application securing 45% marks (40% marks for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD categories) in the qualifying subjects.
English: Candidate must have qualified English at 10+2 level with minimum 30% marks.

Qualification Eligibility (For Pharmacy):

Qualifying Exam: Student must have passed 12^th level or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
Qualifying Percentage & Subjects: student must have passed 12^th level with Physics & Chemistry as mandatory subjects & any one among – Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science & Computer Application. Qualifying marks should be 45% marks (General) & 40% marks for reserved candidates.
English Subject: Student must qualify English subject in 10+2 level with 30% marks.
