Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is a government-funded research-intensive university spread over five campuses. The university is one of the top research-led liberal arts institutions in Asia and is ranked among the top 5% of universities in the world. It has the only triply accredited business school to pursue MBA in Hong Kong.
The university offers a range of undergraduate programs, associate degree and higher diploma programs, taught postgraduate programs, and research postgraduate programs. The admission process at HKBU is through an online application with two intake sessions throughout the year in September and January. Total student enrollment at the university is 10,598. The international student population at the University is around 4,704.
The university has had a high graduate employability rate of the past six years with 95% of the students getting full-time employed within six months after their graduation. Hong Kong Baptist University Campus
There are five main campuses of HKBU; Ho Sin Hang Campus, Shaw Campus, Baptist University Road Campus (1998), Kai Tak Campus, and Shek Mun Campus.
There is an Academic community hall for hosting community gatherings like classical concerts, orchestras, musicals, variety shows, ceremonies, religious functions, and seminars, etc. it has a seating capacity of 1,346 students.
The sports center of the university offers various opportunities to students to participate in recreational activities with fellow students and lead a balanced lifestyle.
It also has catering facilities at each campus. Some of them are Harmony cafeteria, iCafe, Renfrew restaurant, the main canteen, etc.
Hong Kong Baptist University Accommodation
The university offers a range of on-campus accommodation to students. Following are the accommodation option available on-campus:
Undergraduate halls: it provides around 1,770 residences to full-time undergraduate students of the university. The facilities are managed by the office of student affairs. The hall life education team provides hall life education through a wide range of good structures learning programs and activities.
Postgraduate housing: Accommodation is provided to the international postgraduate student via DR. Ng Tor Toi International house. It offers 250 hostel spaces to international students. It has a well-furnished room with a bed, wardrobe, writing desk and bookcase. They are well equipped with facilities like wired internet, laundry facilities, and common rooms for reading and discussion, etc
