What keeps you connected with the education sector?

“Prolong learning experience and contribution towards society”

With the years of dedication and encouragement to gaining knowledge, my thoughts led me towards this path of education where learning is a continuous process. This sector aids me to share my knowledge and be happy and satisfied with the contribution I am making towards the lives of other people and society as a whole. Education is the most important factor to build a strong nation.

How do you ensure good learning practices across the department?

“Advanced course structure and skill development”

There are a plethora of interesting subjects and topics in which the students and the faculty can put their intelligent minds for a better learning experience. Ensuring outstanding teaching and learning practice across the department isn’t a simple task and I believe that one can ensure this by the process of constant learning and progression. I encourage my colleagues to continue the path of innovative learning and help our students gain the same with due courses and lessons. Also, skill development is a compulsory subject, with credit score which mandates the students to put their minds into productive growth besides the regular curriculum and is essential for the students stepping into the world.

What is your philosophy of teaching?

“Practice is the key to success”

Over the several years of my teaching life I have seen many naturally talented and intellectual students, and many students who have fought their way into the world through hard work and dedication. In my personal opinion, every student needs to practice to some extent, whether skilled or not. Practice is essentially important and a progressive rock in building the career of a student. So, I usually involve my students in learning things and practising them even more.

Any insights on what an ideal college environment should be?

“Subsidising requirements and positive outlook”

We all need to be our best self as a human. Being one’s true good self and productive requires a healthy and happy environment to flourish. An ideal college must be able to guide the students to find the right path for their future and provide a hand of support during their nurturing years. It must foster experienced faculty who are ready to communicate and interact with students to make their decisions and choices worth in their life. Apart from the faculty, the institute should be able to back the faculty with infrastructure to support them. In combination to these factors, there also needs to be sufficient interest cultivated in the minds of the students that is essential for personal and professional growth.

What are approaches you bring in apart from curriculum to train the students?

“Accommodation of effectual programs and training sessions”

Within the programs and activities offered, one of the most influential and helpful events for our students has been the six-month industry internship that our college offers, which helps the students to be prepared to take on the challenges of the ever evolving industry requirements. We believe an innovative idea can only sprout from deep understanding of the subject matter and critical thinking about the process to identify challenges and gaps that still may exist and still need to be answered. In furtherance of the sane, the extra-curricular activities like Smart India Hackathon have not just enabled the students to think out of the box, but have also given them the motivation to learn more about the courses and to innovate themselves. Additionally, lecture sessions and seminars are also effective in imparting knowledge amongst the students as well as motivating them.

How does your college enhance the skills of the faculty?

“Developmental initiatives for wider approaches”

We have a very hardworking and dedicated faculty who are the fundamental building blocks of the college. We have always been welcoming in accepting and offering any help to our faculty members whether it’s related to academics or administration. We have incorporated the RPS (Research promotion scheme), MODROB (Modernisation and Removal of Obsolescence) and my personal effort in getting the GoC (Grant of Conference) which helps our institutes and provide support to the faculty to progress with their endeavours. These not only help them gain relevant knowledge and skills but also grant financial assistance for supporting and sustaining their interests.

What strategies do you have for your department for the next 3 years?

“Better facilities and strengthened faculty network”

We are constantly under the process of getting a better version of ourselves so that our students can benefit from the same. Our strategy is to go from strength to strength by enhancing our faculty to continue research driven curriculum teaching methods. Also, we are making investments in advanced facilities and Labs with updated infrastructure and instruments which can meet the latest industry accreditations. The thought of constant improvement must be incorporated not by one by the entire department to achieve the peak of success.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the aspiring students?

“Never lose hope and stay prompt for challenges”

I would suggest to them to stay motivated, confident and never give up, and keep embracing the challenges of life. Your targets may not always be achieved, your goals may not always be accomplished but I assure you that at the end of the journey and your grit would make you a better and successful individual.
