We are offering industry and employment oriented courses like in the discipline of Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity and Data Science to equip students with skills and knowledge required to work in real world scenarios. And we also train our students on emerging technologies including AWS, Salesforce, CISCO Networking, Dev-ops, Angular JS, which helps our students stand apart from the crowd.

Also demand for Engineers is high in the market as far as trending technologies are concerned and lastly these courses help us to make our students corporate ready.

We do have student centric skill development programs like Hackathons, Buddy Learning, Extempore, Seminars, Role play, industry interaction sessions, EDC programs and a super 100 batch of students have been trained on premium packages by Smart Interview. Students can also practice on Codechef to build industry skill sets and showcase their performance to the industry experts.

What are some valuable insights of the programs that you are offering at your institute?

We have customized and flexible learning schedules for students for the programs they are pursuing with us. And we do have modern labs, library, sports facilities, 24/7 R&D lab access for the students, club 64 students chapters to build interpersonal and intra personal skills of students. And we also conduct doubt sessions for students as and when required.

How do you train yourself and your faculty to deliver this program to the students?

"Faculties are trained through FDPs, NPTEL and Coursera based courses"

We train our faculty members on latest technologies and educational practices by organizing Faculty Development Programs in collaboration with the industry experts, through NPTEL, Coursera courses and Centre of Excellence Programs with reputed Companies. And under the COE program, we send our faculty in good companies for a full time training for a minimum of 30 or 90 days to up-skill themselves. 

How do you build a connection between programs of your college and industry demands? 

"By organizing programs like COE programs and industry interaction sessions"

For the purpose of building a strong connection between our academic practices and industrial demands and also to bridge the gap between students' skills and what companies expect them to deliver, we have COE programs, Industry academia connect sessions and few other programs as well.

What challenges have you faced while inculcating the programs in your curriculum?

"Adjusting time between academics and training is a major challenge we are facing"

The biggest challenge which we faced while implementing these latest courses of AI, DS and ML in our curriculum was balancing the time between academics and mandatory training which were required to upskill students. 

On what kind of projects your students are currently working on under these courses? 

"Our students are working on real time projects which are assigned to them by our industry partners"

Our students are working on a diverse range of projects which are generally real world problems and given by the industrial experts to them. They are also participating in coding challenges, hiring challenges and Hackathons which are usually organized by the esteemed companies.

As far as I have analyzed, students after pursuing the latest technological courses from our students will land their dream jobs for sure, because the market for AI, ML, DS and cyber security is expanding day by day with the need of highly qualified Engineers. And students can also become Entrepreneurs and start their own business. And lastly, they can pursue Masters in relevant domains in India or abroad.
