What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

To set an example by our professional attitude and learnings for students benefit”

We are responsible for the overall development of the students which includes technical skills and ethical and moral values. Key responsibilities can be listed as below:

  • To deliver lectures on various courses for Electronics and communication.
  • To conduct labs and enhance the hands-on experience for students 
  • Develop acumen for research and problem solving in students. 
  • To encourage the students to set higher goals for themselves and not to limit their learning.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

Healthy relations give a strong base to all types of growth and learning. It can be established by developing trust among colleagues and students. This can only be achieved by maintaining consistent communication and by appreciating the efforts of each one.


What are the best practices of the subjects offered by the department?

Our department is working on specialization tracks like digital System Design, Wireless Communication and Cyber Security. Also, the skill set of students is improved with the help of various webinars and workshops on Python, MATLAB, IoT, Robotics, etc.

How does your department prepare students for Higher education and placements?

“Adequate higher studies resources and pre-placement guidance provided”

As per the alumni records, most of the students from the ECE department are placed in the software industry and are performing well. Core branch placements can be increased in sectors like VLSI, Communication and Digital design. We help our students prepare for their placement interviews by carrying out mock sessions and group discussions. This helps increase their confidence and self-belief.

For higher education, students are guided and supported with the possible resources which are helpful for competitive exams. 


How does the curriculum of your department ensure the best practice of the industry?

“Specialized courses, updated syllabus and practical exposure of the field”

  • Student development programs are executed to help them bridge the gap between syllabus and industry. 
  • To improve it further, we are planning to follow the specialization tracks. 
  • We also requested the university to update the curriculum with the suggested syllabus gap report.
