  • We write a series of posts for the social media outlets we are part of
  • We schedule the posts to go out several times a week leading up to the event/program
  • Will tag key influencers in posts (people with lots of followers or who are influential within the particular field of the event/program)
  • Will reach out to key people via email.
  • Other promoting mediums used are Press releases, Posters, Websites, Student clubs, etc.

The only way to succeed is never to take the pressure of expectations. Never let people's judgment reach our head. Be calm all the time. The most important thing for an average person to succeed is to first find what they are good at. Once they do that they will put in a lot of hard work which is not tiring work for them as they love what they do. So they will be achieving higher feats in that group or aspect.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“To be a self-reliant, motivated, optimistic and socially aware individual”

  • They should find an adult and experienced mentor. A responsible adult knows what is best for their well-being.
  • They should not simply be a follower. Avoid being part of the crowd.
  • They should be humble. In the current environment, it is popular to be haughty or arrogant.
  • They should establish a set of values. Many deep cultural, social, and spiritual values will benefit all people.
  • They must maintain emotional stability.

How do you prepare your students for placements and what strategies do you plan?

“By giving them an in-depth knowledge regarding the recruiter’s expectations and how to deliver”

The preparation always starts with surveys regarding the companies visiting, their intake, requirements, etc. With all of the information at their disposal, they may start their entire prep-work in the following manner-

  1. Back to The Roots: The most important thing in their selection process is going to be their knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
  2. Pick Favorite Engineering Subject/Topic: Interviewers make their job easier by asking them for their favorite engineering subject.
  3. Aptitude Tests: This is where the first eliminations will begin – the aptitude tests.
  4. Written & Spoken English: Like it or not, but the Indian job markets demand people who can speak and write correct English.
  5. Interview (Technical): If they’re good at engineering topics, then cracking the technical interview won’t be a problem.
