Did you avail of the benefit of any reservation?

Saveen Kaul: “KM”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Saveen Kaul: “At that time it was an offline WAT & GD process when I gave it. As far as I remember there were 2 Individuals from the industry. The topic was on current affairs only & discussion went on for 30 minutes. There were 8 people during the discussion & it went smoothly. The college was student-driven, hence it was more efficient & moderators did a good job in order to get the things in a correct manner.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Saveen Kaul: “What is the future of electric vehicles?”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Saveen Kaul: “Electric vehicle industry performance, existing industry challenges & infrastructure problems for the government. Scalability for the products & feasibility for the same were some important points put forward by me.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Saveen Kaul: “2 member Panel from industry -offline. Generic discussions on the basis of my resume & my basic introduction were asked. Automotive segmentation & marketing mix for one of the companies were asked. It was a stressful interview for me. At last, they were satisfied by my answers & later on I got to know that I did well in the interview.”

Question2 - Some basic Quantitative questions were also asked on the concepts of time & distance & probability.

Question 3- How the servicing of the car is done & what are the KPI & KRA process followed by your company. Existing turnover for the same.

Question 4- How well the segment of automotive is doing? - Skoda was taken in a context & an answer was given in the context of the same.

Question 5- How data is important- Data is the new oil & data was the most important as I used it during my company tenure to get a good number of insights as per the data > some of the initiatives taken were also explained well during the interview."

Mention 3 reasons why you chose this college over other colleges which you converted.

Saveen Kaul: “Better placements in terms of the other colleges & faculty. The latest courses & realistic grounds of an industry with the inclusion of data analytics were more in the curriculum. Ultimately the brand name of the SIBM has been more in the context & many corporates have recognized brand name in the market , therefore, these were the major reasons for choosing the college.”

What was the reason for you not converting other colleges? (if any)

Saveen Kaul: “There cannot be the exact reason to define the non-conversions of the college. One thing which can be said ideally is to get an excellent score & take admission to the best college with average personality at your end. Sometimes it’s also the case the GD topic given to you is absurd & not familiar with the topic given to us. That could also be the reason.”
