Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Tanya Khatri: “SIBM Bengaluru has a dedicated committee to conduct the admission process. They follow six sigma process to conduct the WAT/GD process. The students on their chosen date are divided into a batch size of 10 and are then taken to a room where WAT and GD happen. GD for me was offline and was in the institute itself There were 2 moderators present in the room. Once the topic was shown, we got a minute to think about it and then the floor was open for all to discuss the same. For WAT we were shown a video, which we had to interpret and write our understanding from the same in 300-400 words in 10 minutes.”

GD- should attendance be mandatory for college students”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Tanya Khatri:

“WAT

Elaborated on the discipline, Importance of it and shared examples for it, what successful people have done and how they have achieved it.

I spoke against the topic; Attendance is not a guarantee for learning and Learning can be done outside the class. The curriculum should be such that it makes students want to come to the class instead of forcing them”

1) What is the difference between 4G and 5G?

The main difference is speed, the speed of 5G is almost 100 times faster than 4G. 5G Network also has high security.

2) Effect of AI on employment rate

AI has been beneficial to people and I believe with progressing society it can create more job opportunities for because of technological progress

3) Who is the chairman of NITI Aayog?

The prime minister of our country

4) Analytical problems-transfer water from one tank to another in not more than 3 attempts

5)What is your intended specialization and why are you suitable for it?

My intended specialization is marketing as it involves understanding the human behavior which I believe I am pretty good at. Marketing is what drives the business and let's you be the face of the organization which I see myself doing 5 years down the line”

Tanya Khatri: “1) The growth of the college, it was only 10 years old and was at par with most of the colleges

3) The college is in Bengaluru, the corporate hub of India, I was sure that there will be many opportunities”
