Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust donates 1 Crore to Corona Relief Fund

Hindusthan Educational Institutions, Hospitals & group of Companies donated Rs. One Crore to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s General Relief Fund.  Mr.T.S.R.Khannaiyann,Founder & Trustee, Mrs.T.R.K.Sarasuwathi, Managing Trustee handed over the cheque of Rupees One Crore to the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M.K. Stalin. 

The Trust has been rendering its service to the needy by donating food and other essentials right from the initial stages of the spread of Corona virus through NCC and NSS units. During the first wave in 2020, the trust gave the kitchen space in the hostels to prepare food for the needy in containment zones. The Trust allows the government to utilize Hindusthan Hospital, Mettupalayam Branch for Covid Care treatment for the past one year at free of cost. It is notable that the Trust has given free education and concession to the sons and daughters of front line warriors’ and also donated oxygen buses to Coimbatore Government hospital.
