Haryana, August 27, 2018: GD Goenka University signed a memorandum of understanding with Medanta - The Medicity for clinical collaboration of Academic Programmes like B.Sc. Cardiovascular Technology, B.Sc. Healthcare, B.Sc., Clinical Research & Diploma in Pharmacy. Dr. Naresh Trehan, Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta Heart Institute, Mr. Nipun Goenka, the Managing Director of GD Goenka Group, Mr. Rohit Gujral, the Director of G. D. Goenka Group & Dr. Rohit Dutt, the Associate Dean of G. D. Goenka School of Medical & Allied Sciences were also present during MoU. Under the guidance of Dr. Naresh Trehan, G. D. Goenka University is launching courses in Cardiovascular Technology, Healthcare & Clinical Research in collaboration with Medanta Hospital, Medicity. The students of G. D. Goenka University will spend 15 days in a month, assisting top cardiologists and an opportunity to get placed in Medanta

Now, students of GD Goenka School, of Medical and Allied Sciences, will get regular clinical exposure at Medanta-The Medicity, under the supervision of expert medical professionals. To take this association further, both GDGU and MIER would enter into a strategic partnership to promote and carry out further educational and research initiatives in health sciences. This collaboration will certainly contribute towards the development of competent healthcare professionals with thorough knowledge of clinical procedures.
