VBU Result 2022: How to Check?

Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) students can check the result for UG, PG, and M.Phil & PhD courses by following the below-listed steps:

  1. Visit the official website of Vinoba Bhave University (VBU).
  2. Click on the ‘VBU Result’ tab provided in the menu bar.
  3. On the next page, click on “Check your marks”.
  4. On the next page, Select
    1. Course type
    2. Semester
    3. Stream
  5. Enter the roll number and click on “Get Result”.

VBU Result 2022: Evaluation Scheme

  • Pass marks in Honours for both theory and practical: 50% . Pass marks in General Pass course for both theory and practical: 40%  A student must pass in theory and practical subjects in each semester and the marks will be displayed on the mark sheet separately.
  • Also, a Minimum attendance of 75% is a must for being eligible to attend the exams. 
  • University shall conduct the End – Semester Examinations of 3 hours duration, of 80 marks. Internal Assessment shall be conducted by the College of 20 marks. The Internal Assessment for 20 marks shall be made in the following categories: 
Class Tests / Unit Test 10 Marks
Seminars/NCC/NSS/Sports/ Cultural activities 05 Marks
Attendance 05 Marks
Total 20 Marks
  • The Internal Evaluation of Answer Scripts will be completed within 15 working days at the College level after the end of the examination. Honours Papers/ General/ Pass Question Paper shall have only descriptive type questions. There will be at least two or three short answer type questions in each paper. The UGC recommended 10-point grading system is followed at VB University, with the following grade convention as given below:

VBU Result 2022: Revaluation/ Retotalling 

Normally, Re-evaluation of the answer scripts are not ordinarily allowed. If a student requests for it, they can apply for the scrutiny after paying the required fee for it, within 15 days of the declaration of the results. The paper shall be revaluated/ retotalled by the Examination Section of the University to see if any question has been left unmarked or not, whether marks obtained have been mentioned correctly or not.

  • Candidate has to fill the form available at Institute admin office for revaluation/ retotalling
  • Pay the requisite application form fee in Demand draft/ Challan
  • Retain the challan form and stay updated with the university website regarding the release of the revaluation/ retotalled result

VBU Result 2022: Backlog Application

  • Candidate will be promoted to next Semester only if they don’t have any backlogs to maximum two. Candidate must clear their previous years’ backlog papers in order to get promoted into the next semester. 
    • Backlog forms are available at the institute/ university office 
    • Fill in the details specifically mentioning the subject codes and names. 
    • Enter other relevant details pertaining to the candidate’s profile. 
    • Submit the backlog examination fee proof (DD/ Challan/ Online challan hard copy)
  • After submitting the form, candidate must stay updated with the website regarding the release of notification of the backlog exam schedule.
