Mrs. D Swarupa is the HOD of EEE Department at Welfare Institute of Science Technology and Management. She started her teaching career in 2007 as a Professor at AL Ameer College of Engineering & Technology till 2013. After that, she has been associated with WISTM as HOD of EEE. She has 14 years of work experience. She has written more than 8 research papers in the genre of Scopus, 5 papers on IJERT as well as papers related to power systems. Her mission is to inculcate subject knowledge in every student. She got bl ratified by AU in 2017.

What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

“To ensure the correct flow of curriculum in my department”

My role and responsibility is to apply the knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Engineering Fundamentals, and Engineering specialization to the solution of Complex Engineering problems. Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis, and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

What are the kinds of projects students work on in your institution?

“Currently, students are working on Solar Fencing and Voice Control based Projects”

At Present students are working on a Solar fencing project, voice control-based projects. The main objective of the ongoing projects is to impart knowledge of mathematics and science concepts as tools to devise and deliver efficient solutions to problems of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.


What are the career opportunities if a student chooses an EEE course?

Career opportunities are well related to the Government jobs like Indian Navy as an Electrical Technical Officer, Aptransco, Apgenco, Apepdcl, and Power Grid. Students can also be placed in software fields like TCS, Infosys.
