Established in 1984, Mother Teresa Women's University is a public university which offers postgraduate and research programmes along with PG diploma courses. The University follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for all its courses with the objective of extending its service to women students of all communities.

Mother Teresa Women's University offers various PG courses (entrance and non-entrance based) at its Kodaikanal, Madurai and Chennai campuses whereas undergraduate courses are offered at the university’s constituent college. In case of non-entrance based regular courses, the marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be the basis for preparing the merit list.

The university also offers programmes through distance learning mode through its multiple study centres. MTWU DDE offers selected programmes through distance education viz. BA, B.Com, BCA, MA, M.Com, MBA, MCA and PG Diploma. Admission to the distance programmes are done directly on a first-come-first-serve basis by the university.

MTWU Semester Results 2022

The university follows semester pattern for all its PG, research and diploma courses and examinations are conducted twice a year. Odd semester examinations are conducted in November-December and even semester examinations are held in the month of April-May every year.

End semester examination results are usually published on the university website within a month from the examinations. The university students can check their result by following the below given steps:

  • First of all, student should log on to the official university website and check for “Examinations” on the home page
  • Upon hovering the cursor over the Examination tab, candidates will be able to select the “Result” link from the drop-down menu
  • In the next step, candidate should click the “Result November 2022” link and choose from “University” or “Affiliated Colleges”
  • Next, students should select the semester number (I, III, V) for which the result is required. After that, student should click on the desired course such as BCA, B.Com, B.Sc Physics, MA, MBA, M.Sc IT, M.Phil etc.
  • Upon clicking the course name, a ZIP file will automatically be downloaded which should be further unzipped to extract a PDF file containing the university semester result for the corresponding course

MTWU Examination Schedule 2022

Candidates can view the examination time table along with other relevant information related to university examination such as application form (Regular and DDE) as well as revaluation forms.

In case of revaluation, students can download the forms and send it upon completion along with the required fee to the university office within the stipulated time.
