Founded in 1990, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University has a constituent college and more than 100 affiliated colleges under its jurisdiction, situated in the Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari districts. The university mainly offers PG and research courses through its 28 working departments including science, history, biotechnology, education, sociology and psychology. Along with it, MSU also has several community colleges which offer diploma courses of one-year duration.

In addition to imparting education through regular programmes, the university also offers courses through distance learning mode via Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education [DD&CE], situated in Tirunelveli. Through its multiple study centres and information centres, DD&CE is able to impart education in the streams of arts, commerce and science at UG as well as PG level to students across India.

Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Result 2022

The university follows semester system for all its courses viz. Odd and Even semester. End semester examinations are generally conducted in December/ January for odd semester and in the month of May/ June for even semesters. Results for the same are usually uploaded on the official university website within a month from the examinations.

Steps to Check the MSU Semester Results

Candidates can check their semester/ revaluation results for regular courses offered by MSU from the official university website by following the given steps:

  • Firstly, students should log on to the official university website and hover the cursor over “Examinations” tab
  • In the drop down list, candidate should click on “Results” link
  • In the next page, a list of all the available results will be displayed viz. “M.Phil Result” or “DD&CE PG Revaluation Results”. Candidate should click the desired link and enter their Register Number in the dialog box
  • As soon as the candidate clicks “View Result” button, his/her result is instantly displayed on the screen which they can download and take a print out of it for future reference

Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Directorate of Distance & Continuing Education (DD&CE) offers various UG and PG courses through distance learning mode every year. Candidates can check their semester/ revaluation results for distance education courses offered by MSU from the official university website by following the given steps:
