How does the curriculum of your Law School ensure the future preparedness of students?

"Our college is using CBCS methodology and have given freedom to students to study courses of their choice"

We have adopted Choice-Based Credit System, where our students can choose the faculty, courses and subjects of their choice and study freely. And every year we offer 16 papers to students through which they can choose to do the compulsory or elective papers or internship.

How do you prepare your students for the outside competitive world and how your institute courses would be useful for them?

"We prepare them for outside world by providing rigorous training programs and internships"

As far as I have observed the outside world, I can confirm that tremendous job opportunities are present for the outside world for competent law graduates. And we have compulsory moot courts, training programs and 18 months internships for students to make them efficient in the particular areas of their interests and our PG courses are well designed to help them achieve new heights of success by developing their communication, presentation, analytical, research and argumentation skills. Apart from all this, we assign research based assignments to them on a regular basis so that they can draft right arguments and improve their soft skills.

What makes your Saveetha School of Law unique and different from other Law institutions?

"Apart from delivering Law education, we have firms to prepare students for competitive exams"

We have a separate law firm which we call as Saveetha Law Firm and the main aim of this form is to offer best internship opportunities to students. Also, we do have a Saveetha Judicial Training Academy and Saveetha IAS Academy to train and prepare students for the competitive exams. And we have opted for Choice Based Credit System as mandated by UGC to deliver education to students and it's been made mandatory for students to attend at least 4 moot courts to develop their writing and research skills. Lastly, we have established a highly disciplined atmosphere in our college and organize various national and international level co-curricular activities to make students ready for the outside competitive world. And our 11 Alumni are serving as Civil Judges in several districts of Tamil Nadu, so I firmly believe all these factors together makes us unique and different as compared to others.
