How do you introduce practical and industry oriented approaches towards subjects?

“By supplementing curriculum with various activities and tours”

Being an engineering-based institute, practical exposure is something that we focus on a large scale and thus, workshops are being organized for the students. We also organize industrial visits for the students for a span of 7-15 days and teachers having expertise in the concerned domain accompany them during such visits in order to resolve their queries.


Which practices are offered to the students to gain necessary corporate skills?

“We provide industrial trainings through and special courses to them”

A person having good “Skill” would stand out among the rest. Thus, in order to make sure the same, the institute ensures that during the 3 years of the student a working period of about 40-45 days is attained by students. Apart from that the Institute has a tie up with 2-3 organizations which imparts training to students towards software, Metrology and Instrumentation.


How do you prepare your students to cope up with the competitive world?

“By providing various opportunities to students for their all-around growth”

In order to help the students with the high level of competition which is being present outside, a Personality development course is being given by the institute, Personal Interview Training Sessions, and Group Discussions are being done. Students are advised to communicate in English too with their fellow classmates.

Which educational issues Covid has created for your institute?

“Shifting to online mode for study and exam was definitely a challenge for us”

In recent times before the pandemic broke out, printed exam forms were being given to students and exams were being conducted accordingly. However, during Pandemic, GTU started a portal in which all online procedures were required which was a problem for Students belonging to Rural Areas because of less exposure towards digital intellect and in order to help them, faculty members had to do the Financial Procedures done from their own pockets. Having said that, summer 2021 exams were completed in the month of October.


How do you prepare a curriculum to achieve the educational standard?

“By accommodating practical assessment with every subjects”

In order to ensure that college keeps evolving with time, different tools are being taught to students of different engineering trades. For instance, in automobile engineering, AutoCAD and Solid works are being taught. In Civil Engineering, REVIT is used. In Electrical Engineering, PLC and SCADA are being taught. In addition to that, 3D printing lectures are given to the students by the US Institute of 3D Technology. Faculty Development programs are being organized. Recently, AICTE has started an MOU with 5 industries which makes it compulsory for every student to acquire training of 15-2-days.


Any valuable advice would you like to give to students for a prosperous career ahead?

“Always give your best and be patient”

A combination of hard work and soft work is required in order to make sure one has a stable career ahead. In addition to that, being well versed with computer programming languages and working on soft skills are necessary too
