How is SHUATS Allahabad for a BBA?

RA
Rizwan Ahmed Posted On : October 14th, 2021
Completed B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS) in 2020

SHUATS Allahabad is not good for a generalized BBA but if you are looking for a BBA in the agriculture or dairy area then you can go for it.

The environment and the infrastructure of the institute are not good. It is not suitable for either MBA or BBA. SHUATS is popular for agriculture, horticulture, dairy technology, food technology, and forestry.

The courses pertaining to B.Tech are also not bad but if you want to pursue BBA here, make sure you pursue MBA, if that is in your plans, from a good institute.

How is the food at SHUATS Allahabad?

KS
Keshav Sharma Posted On : October 25th, 2021
B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology

The food at SHUATS is not good in terms of quality and students have often complained about it. Whether you are a foodie or no foodie you will not like it.

In breakfast, they would serve you all the oily stuff things such as puri sabzi, sandwiches, etc. For lunch, you will only have chapatti sabzi dal. The lunchtime is only between 12:30 to 1:30 pm. And if in case you are late you will miss your lunch.

For dinner, the situation is even worse. You will not get properly cooked veggies and might have to eat uncooked food sometimes.

Except for food, other facilities are good at SHUATS and everyone just tries to cooperate with the situation.

Is SHUATS okay for B Pharm or not?

RJ

Completed B.Tech Food Processing Technology & Food Technology, Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS) in 2020

Actually, no, the forte of SHUATS lies in the course it offers for agriculture and allied courses. SHUATS does offer the B.Pharm degree but if you really want to pursue this degree then it would be better if you opt for some other institute.

The placement scenario for students of B.Pharm at SHUATS is not good at all. Instead, try pursuing the degree at VIT or SRM where students who have completed this course do get placements.

Another popular degree that attracts candidates is the food technology course.
