Can I apply to the IIM Udaipur Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) program? This is a new course. Will it be risky to apply? What's your opinion?

There is a lot of demand for professionals from a business background. If you think that the DEM course curriculum suits your needs and matches where you would like to work in the future, you should go for it.

• Think of this course as a long term investment in yourself and you will be able to benefit from it in 2 to 3 years.
• You will realize after the first term itself if the course is good or not.
• In term 2, you will get to learn more about technology and do projects based in the digital industry like Analytics (descriptive and predictive).
• The faculty are all well qualified with ties in the industry to companies like flipkart, Deloitte, Accenture, etc.
• As far as placements are concerned, the recent batch had recruitments in companies like Deloitte, Cognizant, CGI Inc, etc.

You should also try to attend webinars that the college holds for prospective applicants and students. They are generally quite helpful. Moreover, if you are interested in this discipline, you should take it. Not many MBA programs in our country are dedicated to just the digital enterprise.
