B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, PES University

PES University (main campus) will be a better option for Computer Science and Engineering. PES is known for its CS department. The faculties of the department are brilliant. It also offers decent placements.

PES University placements are good. The students of 2021-22 batch students received an average CTC of INR 5 LPA. This year, the highest CTC offered was INR 8.2 LPA.

B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering, PES University (2018)

CSE is a branch in which students are more concerned about placement than in college, so if a comparison is to be made it must be according to the statistics of placement. However, students must also look into other aspects of the program for a better understanding.

Courses:

  • PES University offers a total of 97 courses in which 9 courses are offered in bachelor of technology.
  • MSRIT offers a total of 53 courses in which 23 courses are offered in bachelor of technology.
  • BMSCE offers a total of 46 courses in which 18 courses are offered in Bachelors of Technology.

All the above courses have the same course duration and the syllabus is almost the same with a few changes.

Rankings:

  • The overall ranking of BMSCE according to a survey of NIRF 2020 is 73 and Times India 2020 is 08.
  • The Ranking of PES according to NIRF 2020 is 93.
  • The Ranking of MSRIT according to NIRF 2020 is 59 and India today 2020 is 27.

The diversity of MSRIT and PES are almost equivalent, and both have a well-versed and well-established infrastructure. The academics of all three universities is renowned all over the state. But BMSCE has fewer opportunities as compared to MSRIT or PES. As both of these institutes have more number of opportunities as compared to the later. Some consider PES to be the best and some consider MSRIT to be best in CSE. But between these two the title of "The Best" is still debated.
