Which is better: VIT or IIT Gandhinagar?

IIT Gandhinagar is definitely the better choice among these. Being an IIT, the facilities offered by the institute are great. It offers decent academics. IIT Gandhinagar has made excellent progress in a very short span of time. It has witnessed good placements over the years. IIT Gandhinagar placements 2021 concluded with an average CTC of INR 8.96 LPA. HPCL, ISRO, Goldman Sachs, etc. are the top recruiters that took part in the placement drive.

IIT Gandhinagar is better than VIT any day. IT Gandhinagar is not a ‘new IIT’ anymore. When it was started back in 2008, it was started with new ideas, new energy. Everyone at the institute is working hard to make the institute a different kind of IIT.

The teaching techniques, the course structure, the excellent campus, and the flexibility provided to you for taking up various different minors are something you won’t get in VIT. Also, the opportunity they give you to study subjects that would be useful for daily life and the new ideas for entrepreneurship, etc. take it to a whole new level.

The thing about VIT is that good people do come, but, there are many people who come through the management quota. So, the quality of students is compromised. On the other hand, in IIT Gandhinagar, only excellent students study because there is no management quota system.

No doubt, IIT Gandhinagar is growing very fast and will soon become equal to or almost equal to some of the top IITs in the country.
