Studied at IEM Kolkata (2019)

IEM Kolkata offer unmatched educational quality to students who are firmly willing to excel in either engineering or management studies. At the same time, however easy you think it is to join the college, it can result in being the opposite. The cut-off of the institute is strictly based upon the WBJEE ranking factors.

But, the ranks tend to vary each particular year, so a student willing to pass through the entrance, needs to practice and secure more than average to ensure having a seat to join the college.

To get a clearer view, read below. The cut-off based from 2019 was:

Departments

Cut-off (General Category)

CSE

473-1508

IT

1532-2800

ECE

1206-3296

Mechanical

746-5430

EEE

1549-4054

You are willing to enroll in the B.Tech program, the selection is done through IEMJEE scores and Admission to the M.Sc program is through JAM/ PGET/ IEMJEE scores. And, if you are a student wanting to pursue MBA, admissions are done on the basis of rank secured in CAT/JEMAT or IEMJEE.
