How good is the MBA Tech. the course at NMIMS?

MBA Tech course at NMIMS are quite confusing. I know someone who did this course so I can give you a brief overview of it.

First, let me clear a few misconceptions.

• You will be a student of MPSTME, not SBM i.e. School of Business Management, which means you won't get an MBA degree, you will get a degree of MBA in Technology Management.
• Your degree will always have MPSTME written over it. Frankly speaking, so far from what I have heard from many of my friends at NMIMS, this college fails to give exposure. NMIMS University is not at all serious about the quality of the program. The teachers, except very few, are not that good.
• Apart from that, the course is not approved by government organizations like UGC which means you can't even apply for a government job and most of the big MNCs don't recognize the course. 
• Talking about the academics, the course curriculum is quite good but since faculty members are not good, the education quality is also very poor. The top management of the college doesn't pay any interest in the complaints or concerns.
• The only thing which you will get from this college is a good infrastructure and nothing much.

Placements:

It claims 100% with an average package of 6 Lakhs Per Annum. However, the ground reality is that the placement of marketing is 100% but for finance, Operation, Business Analytics, it is between 40-50% max that too with an average package of 3.5 lacs. This is approximately equal to that of an average B. Tech grad from any college.

Keeping the above points in mind, don't go for this degree. Doing a plain B. Tech from any local college will be better than the MBA(Tech) program.
