How do I score good marks in a B.Com. at the Rajasthan University?
One of my friends studied at Rajasthan University. Let me share some of the things he used to do to prepare for scoring good marks.
- Though the question pattern has changed, it is necessary to go through the previous year’s question papers.
- It is quite impossible to read every book thoroughly, that is why learning from the previous year’s question papers will be beneficial.
- For practicals start practicing from the unit of the book which you find comparatively easier and interesting.
- Try and pay attention to every lecture being conducted in the classes.
- For the 20 marks questions, try writing 7-8 pages, as it will fetch you better marks.
- Make sure you use points instead of paragraphs.
Finally, try to remain calm in stressful situations. Confidently answer your questions. While writing, do not repeat the same things over and over, maintain a tidy answer sheet and you will be good to go.
Which is better for a B.Com with ACCA St. Joseph Bangalore or Loyola College Chennai?
Both St. Joseph’s Bangalore and Loyola College Chennai are notable institutions. They are autonomous and affiliated with their regional state universities. Both are sister institutions as they are managed by Jesuits.
One of the factors you should keep in mind before choosing a college is its location. Transportation facilities are easy and frequent. Consider infrastructure, faculty, placements, alumni network, fees, before selecting a college.

Both Sri Aurobindo College and Aryabhatta College are equally good. It completely depends on you, which one to give the preference.
- If you are studious enough, spending 2-3 years in any college will prove beneficial for your career, because your dedication matters more than the institute.
- You can also opt for the college according to your location. Choose the one where daily transportation will be easier.
- For a B.Com program, it is advised not to join newly opened colleges like the Aryabhatta and rather stick with the older more experienced ones.
- The placements at older colleges are also better, due to their years of experience.
- Aryabhatta has gained its name because of Psychology Hons.
B.Com at Sri Aurobindo College is considered among older institutions and hence would be a slightly better choice over Aryabhatta College.
How is Swami Shraddhanand College for a B.Com?
If you analyze Swami Shraddhanand College as per the rankings, it might be disappointing. From the perspectives of students who have graduated from this college claim it to be one of the best institutes.
Swami Shraddhanand College is an off-campus college and highly attracts DU aspirants. The cut-offs here are low in comparison to other colleges.
The only advantage of being a part of this college would be the graduation degree from Delhi University and the title which would make future hurdles easier to get through.
It is your hard work and caliber that would help you in becoming an ace among your classmates. The college provides several assignments to keep you engaged in your studies but creating a balance between your college life and your life outside is your responsibility.
