Remarks :

Any 12 passes can go for the HPUIT entrance exam, On the basis of that exam one will get its trades, or JEE aspirants may also get seats. Reservations are available for sc/st or obc or ews. One will also get a scholarship of 100 percent fee waiver if he or she scored very very well in the 12th lateral entry students are also welcomed by the university.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well, my course is CSE overall faculty is not too good or not too bad here you will not get any pressure from exams and studies or attendance but the faculty may be strict if don't complete compulsory attendance and at the end, you are in Shimla queen of hills this place will surely try to teach you many lessons.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience :

There is a campus placement and if u are good in studies and communication skills u may get an average package of 6.5 LPA may be higher than this Students may also opt for offline placements by given job tests by many companies but here in our college recruiters are like TCS, Paytm, Amazon, Mahindra Tech, Abacus and land T, Wipro and more.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee price is 445000 but you have to go with PG or Room and some of your other expenses will cost u around 8500 per month at least, but if you got a scholarship through nsp or the university then this place is not too bad.

Campus Life :

Our yearly fest is utkarsh and that is one of the best parts of our college, there is a sports meet but the ground is not large as the college is in Shimla. LIBRARY is not too good but as you are in HPU Shimla you will be going to enjoy many things and also struggle with many things.

Placement Experience:

If you are good enough then you could get a decent good offer. A lot of students are placed above the 10 lac bracket while the average package is 7.5 lac and the highest package is off 44lac. While approximately there is 90 percent of students placed.

I choose this course because of my interest in electronics and communication. There is a total of 60-65 students in my class. The all teachers are well experienced and well qualified. They are very helpful. The semester exam is conducted at the end of the semester by HPTU and the exam is neither very hard nor very easy.

Good enough univesity

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year, students can be sat for the campus placement with a specific cgpa. The requirement of the cgpa is usually above 8.5. The highest package given was 55 lakh till the date and the 32 lakhs were the highest packages in the last year The highest package was given by Amazon and other companies are Infosys Wipro TCS.

Hard Work Pays off

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, you can start getting placed. Around 100+ companies visit our campus, such as Amazon, Wipro, etc, and offers are also around 30 lakhs. The highest package was around 44 lakhs, with an average of around 18-21 lakhs. We have a 100% placement in top branches and around. 90% placements overall. Maybe would prefer higher studies as my branch is civil.
