Remarks :

The entrance exam was of moderate difficulty. Computer science had the highest cut-off. All application details for the entrance exam could be filled out on the official website of NMAMIT. The college had few reservations for those belonging to backward classes and for those who have excelled in sports at the national and international levels.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I always had a passion for coding and hence I took computer science engineering. The faculty is good with highly skilled teachers in their fields of expertise. The faculty are all having either a Btech or Mtech degrees Every semester there are 2 mid-semester exams and a final semester exam at the end.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

We have internships starting for students from the 2 sem. Companies like Wipro have offered internships to our students. Projects such as app developing have been accomplished by our fellow students. Companies have initially funded the idea with a full-time job promised later on.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Microsoft and Amazon are the two major companies that visit our college. Last year the highest package vs 5600000 LPA. The percentage of students getting placements is 90%. I have plans of doing a master's once I finish my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is decent not very expensive and the college placements are pretty good. There are scholarships for those who excel in their academic performance. The placements too r pretty good. The average placement in the computer science branch is 800000 LPA.

Campus Life :

There are two major fests in a year and tech fests are held every 4 months. The major fest is in February and it's called 'Incridea'. There are plenty of books in the college library pertaining to all fields of engineering and plenty of comfortable seating arrangements. There is a very good cricket and basketball stadium. Opportunity for other sports is there as well. The lecture halls are quite spacious with a smart class and speakers. There are many clubs that students can enrol themselves in. I have joined the aerospace club.

My college life little experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course for the sake of Electronics. The teachers are good and knowledgeable where most of them have done their PhDs and the students' strength is around 60 per batch and later lateral entry students will also join.

BMSCE - the oldest and most prestigious college of Bangalore

Placement Experience:

Placements are excellent at BMSCE students get placed from the 5th semester onwards. Some companies which visit include Infosys, Intel, hp, Cisco, etc. The highest package will be 40 to 50 LPA each year and the average package is around 9lpa. In CSE the placements are almost 100% but considering all branches it's around 80%. I am planning to do a job after my degree.
