Remarks :
The college accepts admissions through JEE and its own exam known as AEEE. Normally if you get around 2k-4k rank in their exam you can get the Computer Science branch. The B.Tech courses are 4 years as expected and courses like BCA BBA are for 3 years.
Course Curriculum Overview :
While the teachers are PHDs it is not necessary that they might know how to teach. This being said there are some really good teachers that will help you out whenever you ask them. The student-teacher ratio is also quite right and so they will definitely monitor you properly. There are three exams in a semester 2 periodicals + endsem. Normally you can pass them if you study one day before like in any other engineering college.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies that visited for internships last year were Codenation, Intuit, Atlassian, Adobe, etc. They offered stipends from 40k/month to 80k/month. Mostly the roles were SDE roles with possible conversion to full-time.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in my time was 2.4L for tuition and 60k for hostel + food. Scholarships are merit-based and depend on the marks you get. I got a 50% scholarship based on my marks in JEE. If you get good marks in JEE or AEEE you can get up to 90% of the scholarship and if you maintain your CGPA it can be for all four years. Regarding jobs the competition is high but the companies that visit are good. The salaries can range from 4LPA to 40-45LPA. I managed to get a job of 21L CTC with 50k for internship and I prepared 6-7 months in advance so it is not that hard to get a job here if you try.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is not the best aspect of this college as it is a strict place but still, we do have technical fests like Vidyut every year so that will be a lot of fun. The libraries are good enough and you can find most books you want for your curriculum and of course, there are novels or magazines as well you could read in your free time. The classrooms are basic but not bad. Sports and extra-curricular activities are less here as the focus is more on the coursework so it won't be a good place for people interested in playing sports for college. Finally, we have a good amount of clubs technical and non-technical. We have two technical clubs amFOSS(open-source) and bi0s(ethical hacking) and the members of these clubs have won hackathons, and CTFs and have also been selected for prestigious programs like Google Summer of Code and have been placed at companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft. At the same time, there are more clubs coming up related to AI, Competitive Programming, Yoga, etc.
