Remarks :

Since my college is in Chhattisgarh and I was from another state so my admission process was done on the basis of my jee mains marks. The whole counseling process was done on the college campus only. Based on my jee mains marks I was allowed my steam i.e electronics and telecommunication Engineering. For the students who are in Chhattisgarh, only their admission is taken on the basis of the PET exam and based on their ranking in the PET exam, their streams are allotted to them. The application form for admission is published on the college website around June to July month each year. I would also like to inform you that every year st, sc, obc are provided with a scholarship of around 20000 to 25000 each year by csvtu board.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chosen this course because I was passionate about Electronics and telecommunication and our college is providing good placement in past few years and recently 1 year ago AICTE IDEA lab was established in our college which is very helpful for students' practical knowledge. The faculty members are very good and helping in nature, they are very humble and helpful to every student. around 50 students are there in each class. The college faculty is very well qualified in the Mechanical branch one of the faculty is gate qualified air under 1000, and one of the faculty in the electronics branch was a past employee of Intel. the exam is taken by the csvtu board and exam centers are allocated for each student in each semester.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are very decent, every year around 75000 per student are charged as tuition fees which in my opinion is very low as compared to other Pvt colleges. currently, as I am in my final year so many good companies are visiting the campus to recruit students like Capgemini, tech Mahindra, etc.

Campus Life :

The fest is very good in our college, many stars had also come to our colleges during fest like Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu. however, for the past 2 years, no fest is organized in our college. the library facility is very good and a huge library is there on the college campus. The classroom condition is also very good with provided smart class in every classroom. Every year many sports competition takes place on the college campus like inter-branch cricket, volleyball, etc, including inter-college competitions also. many social campaigns are run by was college like blood donations camp etc, the NSS students in our college also work effectively and efficiently in many social events.

My Life at college

Because of my interest in the subject and college facilities I choose this course. There is a student-faculty ratio of 55 students per teacher. Qualifications are not told to students so can't say anything about it. Monthly exams are conducted.

NIT RAPIUR - its not what you expect

Placement Experience:

7th semester. infosys, adobe, and Wipro are some of the leading companies that have visited and total of 649 offers were made in 2022. 57.5 lacs was the highest package offered in the IT branch in 2022. about 65% of students on average get placed in nit raipur every year. doing the job for about 2-3 years I plan on focusing on my skills in music and other things.

The place is a quite interesting highest package of 2cr has been garabed in meta by its student And my branch 21 student got 16 lpa and 2 got 55lpa, and students get placed in PSU through the gate. Our seniors secured good ranks in gates like air 6, and 9 in my mining branch.

Honestly, I didn't choose the course, the course chose me. The student ratio is overall good for this course. All the faculties are qualified and they have their teaching ways that help the student to improve. The exams are always held timely and some subjects are easy to pass but some subjects are hard.

Placement Experience:

NIT Raipur provides wonderful placement and internship opportunities for its students. There are major placements for CSE and IT stream students. Companies like ADOBE, AMAZON, VISA, Deutsche Bank, OPTUM, ORACLE, Arcesium, DE-Shaw, Deolite, TCS, Accenture, and many others visit for both internship and placement opportunities. There is around 95% placement from CSE, IT, and Electronics streams having the highest package of around 55 lakhs and an average of around 18 lakhs. While the other branches also contribute well and stand with an average package of around 10 lakhs.

A Glimpse at NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are average and they offer good placement opportunities. The main placements are offered by tech companies. so you will have to be good in coding and programming to grab the placement. The core companies of other branches other than CS and IT come so less, so they also have to participate in the placement of tech companies. This year the highest package offered was 57 lacs to three students of the college and the lowest being 6lacs. Around 65-80 companies came for the campus placement.
