Remarks :

we have to clear and secure a good enough rank in jee mains to get admission to this college. we have to apply at josaa website for admission counselling then if selected we have to report to the college to complete the admission procedure physically. I availed gen-news reservation my rank was around 60k and ews rank was 9607. I should have been done online because college generally starts a few weeks later and even hostels are not allowed till then.

Course Curriculum Overview :

this was the best course I could get in accordance with my rank. there are about 1 faculty per 90 students so 1:90. most of the head faculty have completed their phd and the assistants have completed their master and I am okay with how they teach. exams in the first sem were about 1 exam in 2 months and difficulty was above average.

Internships Opportunities :

very few students are placed so not much is known about internships here rumours float that only two seniors got placed for internship on campus also they were very versed in what they were doing so it is hard to get an internship on campus

Placement Experience :

7th semester. infosys, adobe, and Wipro are some of the leading companies that have visited and total of 649 offers were made in 2022. 57.5 lacs was the highest package offered in the IT branch in 2022. about 65% of students on average get placed in nit raipur every year. doing the job for about 2-3 years I plan on focusing on my skills in music and other things.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

they should adjust the fees according to the family's income but they have merged 1-5 lacs and above or below. that way if someone is just under 5 lacs or if someone is just above 1 lacs they have to pay it according to their capability. no name for the scholarship but it is provided by the college.

Campus Life :

eclectika, Samar, are the significant fests here but they are not on the scale to be enjoyed it last mostly just 2 days which is the weekend generally conducted in January and February. the abundance of books in the library but apart from study material the library doesn't have much to offer. classrooms are just like they were in school one projector and seat max capacity was 90 students. sports life is very dull in nit raipur the ground is far from good condition and minimal sports complex. click club, raga club, sahyog club.

Hostel Facilities :

lan that supports speed up to 90 Mbps, fan tube lights triple accommodation. food quality is average and a mess committee decides the menu. as soon as the physical reporting for admission is over we are directed to the application process for hostel allotment.

Placement Experience:

The place is a quite interesting highest package of 2cr has been garabed in meta by its student And my branch 21 student got 16 lpa and 2 got 55lpa, and students get placed in PSU through the gate. Our seniors secured good ranks in gates like air 6, and 9 in my mining branch.

From 7-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies Visiitef here are Google, Infosys, TCS, hp, and IBM. The average package given by this college is 3.5 LPA and the highest package given by this college is 20 LPA. 92%can get placement easily into these companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, I didn't choose the course, the course chose me. The student ratio is overall good for this course. All the faculties are qualified and they have their teaching ways that help the student to improve. The exams are always held timely and some subjects are easy to pass but some subjects are hard.

Life at IIIT NAYA RAIPUR

Placement Experience:

Our college has an excellent placement record(100%) all interested students were placed in top companies and some students went for higher studies(MS, BMA, M-tech, etc) to International Universities. The highest package of the year 2022 was 57 LPA and the average package was 13 LPA and 10 LPA for ECE students.

NIT Raipur - From my eye

Placement Experience:

NIT Raipur provides wonderful placement and internship opportunities for its students. There are major placements for CSE and IT stream students. Companies like ADOBE, AMAZON, VISA, Deutsche Bank, OPTUM, ORACLE, Arcesium, DE-Shaw, Deolite, TCS, Accenture, and many others visit for both internship and placement opportunities. There is around 95% placement from CSE, IT, and Electronics streams having the highest package of around 55 lakhs and an average of around 18 lakhs. While the other branches also contribute well and stand with an average package of around 10 lakhs.

A Glimpse at NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are average and they offer good placement opportunities. The main placements are offered by tech companies. so you will have to be good in coding and programming to grab the placement. The core companies of other branches other than CS and IT come so less, so they also have to participate in the placement of tech companies. This year the highest package offered was 57 lacs to three students of the college and the lowest being 6lacs. Around 65-80 companies came for the campus placement.
