Good College

Remarks :

The admission process is through the CET cell in Maharashtra. For BTech 2 entrance exams are accepted MHT.CET, JEE mains. During a round process, you must apply for the course. Eligibility is that you must get a good percentile in cet exam. The application form is available on mht cet website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The academics of college is good. For each and every course in each semester, there are 100 marks. For that 100 marks 2 ISE,2UT, And 1 ESE are conducted. I choose CSE because of the good placements. All faculty members are helpful. They provide whatever students want. At least all faculty members give their 100%. And I am satisfied with that. The student-to-faculty ratio is approximately 1:15 . Almost 30% faculties are from nit/IIT/iiit so they are intelligent. They do their research work here in college.

Internships Opportunities :

The college provides various internships. There is a start-up of a college known as NETRA-RIT under which almost all students get internships in various companies. Companies give stipends depending on the city where you are going to an internship.

Placement Experience :

The campus placements of college are good. In college, various companies visited. Foremostly all of the IT companies visit college for placements. For core branches, there are few companies. Core branch students try to be placed in IT companies and the college provides support to them. For the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Every year TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, Mahindra, KPIT, D- Mart, and many more companies visited a college campus. Every year 500 + offers are offered by MNCs. The highest package offered was about 18 LPA and the average package was about 5.5 LPA. Almost everyone is able to get placements. About 90%+ students get placed every year. My plan is to get a good placement after my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The overall fee for Btech is 148000/- per year. Hostel fees are separate. Maharashtra Government provides various scholarships you may apply through that scholarship. There is one more scheme of college by which you can do work on the college campus and earn some money for your daily expenditure. You make take a part in internships provided by college startups to earn money. Namely the EBC and a panjabrao deshmukh shisyavrutti yojana I avail myself of these two scholarships.

Campus Life :

College life is actually best in RIT. There are 50 + clubs in college so you can improve your skills. Some are technical and some are technical. There are 3 Motorsport clubs also on a college campus. College does not support these clubs in making their Motorsport vehicle. The college infrastructure is good. The college has one of the best libraries. Virangula is an annual cultural event of RIT. There are lots of books available in the library. The college provides sports facility also. The college has various grounds like cricket, football, basketball, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable they are very supportive if we find any difficulty from any problem then they help a lot with it. Exams are in every month and final semester exams are there If we study hard then exams are not tough. Negative point is that sometimes faculty say anything bad so it gets irritated.

There are so many placements in college, Even if you missed a college placement you can still secure the same job, just their process is a little bit more complicated, but don't worry you can take the same opportunity. While campus placement involves companies reaching out to you.

The college trains you for placement through various programs from the third year. the placements are decent with an average package of 2.5 LPA. The students have to put in a lot of self-study to get placed. Hard work pays.

Placement Experience:

From semester 7th only all students are eligible for the campus. In terms of placement this year 2023, due to the recession very few companies visited our college including KPIT, Capgemini, TCS, and Tech Mahindra. The count taken by these companies was also too low around 25-30 students per company only TCS has 80+ students. If I talk about the overall placement count this year only 150 students means 1/4th of the overall college was only placed for an average package of 4.5LPA System Engineer or GET role and most students are from Computer Science only. So overall placement rate is not good this year. The recession has impacted a lot on placement rates this year. I also got placed in TCS but I expect more other companies should visit our campus as last year many companies visited our college and every student has 2+ offer letters in hand.

Nowadays college is providing placement and internship opportunities for third-year students also. Basically at the beginning of last year, you will face the company's drives. Compared to other colleges placement opportunities are good.

Placement Experience:

In these placements, the college invites several companies to their campuses to recruit students studying in that college. After analyzing the different skills being taught by the college and the CV, the company sets some criteria to qualify in several rounds and finally get a job in that company. Students who fulfill all the criteria and qualify in every round get selected.
