Remarks :

ELIGIBILITY - application-merit based. applications can be filled out on the Wadia vriddhi website the admission process is quite long and has a lot of delays in approving application forms. also, they have a huge in-house quote for their students fees are also very low and even lower if from a reserved category

Course Curriculum Overview :

NWC is among the best science colleges in Pune for BSc and BA courses and the college is also one of the prominent colleges that started teaching BCS courses long before most colleges. Faculty is generally very helpful and are pretty friendly with students as well, still, huge student intake and mismanagement can make one doubt their professionality The professors and other teaching staff are very experienced and friendly, most professors are PHDs and highly qualified College in-semester are not very difficult, teaching staff are very serious about internals and practicals

Class Size : 160Course Fees : INR 48000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

College support for internships is very bad, students have to find/apply for internships. Though some professors guide students unofficially for applying and referring a internships internships don't provide extra academic credits here

Placement Experience :

Placements are decent, for Bsc the placements are not very great and the average package goes around 250000 and very few students get campus placements ( 10-15 in a batch of 100) on the contrary the Msc students have great placements at notable MNCs with an average package of 450000-6lpa Companies that come for campus drives:- Deloitte, TCS, LTI, Cognizant, Zensar still, most students don't get placed in above companies, they get placed in smaller start ups for experience

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are pretty low (48000 Rs annually) and scholarships are also available which cuts fees by 50-100%. for reservation students the fee gets even lower, the college has government-aided and unaided courses as well and scholarships are available for both.

Campus Life :

Sports are taken very seriously here and the college itself provides opportunities for sports players, job fests are also conducted on a big scale, the college is well-known for its extracurricular activities and the college also has Naval, Army, Airforce NCC wings The overall college infrastructure is very old

UPG from a student's eye

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in IT technology which is why I pursued this course. The faculty here is really good and it is very easy to connect to teachers for better understanding. We have smartboards installed in each class which is of great help because the teacher can easily browse anything online and show it to us so that it becomes easier to understand. Internal exams occur mostly one and a half months after the semester starts and the duration of one semester is approx 3.5 months.
