Remarks :

The admission process was very smooth as the academic coordinator from the respective college helped me in numerous possible ways within the period. As far as the eligibility of the course curriculum is concerned, Globsyn Business School accepts CAT/MAT/GAT for their Master's Program. The minimum criteria for 10,12 and Graduation are 50 % respectively. I, personally gave Globsyn Aptitude Test (GAT) for the entrance exam procedure. The application form can be downloaded from their respective website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very much detailed oriented and is divided into 2 programs named PGDM and PGPM-IB. The latter is affiliated with the Malaysian University of Science and Technology and the other hand, PGDM is the flagship program of Globsyn Business School. The approximate number of faculty present in each domain is 5. There are 3 domains included in the program. Namely: Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources. As far as the qualification of the faculty is concerned, most of them are Ph.D. holders in their respective fields. The term exams are segregated into 4 parts each year. Conducted in May, December, and April. The passing rate depends upon the student's merit.

Internships Opportunities :

Some of the companies that came for internship offers are Deloitte USI, Kantar IMRB, ITC, Dabur, A-one Advisory, Fortis, etc. In the finance domain based company projects included analyzing the company balance sheets, Credit rating tasks and frameworks, Tax Computation of the individuals, etc. From marketing, prospective includes cold calling, Briefing customers about the company's products, Research oriented work, and many more.

Placement Experience :

Placements happen after the completion of Semester -II. Students are eligible after they have completed their internship and 2 of their semesters. Conducted mainly from September. The placement process is divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 is from September to December followed by Phase 2 from January to April. Companies from the finance domain include Deloitte USI, Deloitte India, PwC, and EY. From the marketing domain - Kimberly Clark, IDFC First Bank, Merico, Kantar IMRB, and many more. There is a record of 100 % placements every year from the college's side. In the end, it rests upon the student's merit to crack the good companies and make their career. The job offers are in abundance.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is mainly done per semester time. There is a sufficient amount taken for the admission procedure and the rest is followed by the semester pattern. The scholarship is given to the candidate strictly on a merit basis followed by financial assistance from the college. All help from the college is primarily focused on the holistic benefit of the student.

Campus Life :

Every year Globsyn Business School conducts 2 major programs namely KYLF- Anondo Utsav and Student Council - Serendipity. The college has a student-driven body namely Kalyani Youth Leadership Forum (KYLF) and Student Council. It has a wide availability of books from various offers present in the Library. Various journals, followed by Student's Internship Program case files. Sports event - TITANIUM happens every year in January/February. Classroom teachings are conducted through PowerPoint presentations and everything happens digitally.

Interview Experience :

There was an aptitude test followed by a group discussion. The topic was based mainly on the economic factor regarding the Covid scenario in the country. I prepared for these rounds mainly by reading daily newspapers and solving aptitude-based questions. The process for registration starts from the college's website, After that, a telephone conversation is done with the college coordinators, and rounds for aptitude tests is being discussed.

There is quite a stark distinction between IIFT's Kolkata and Delhi campuses. There are close to 25 companies that visited exclusively the Delhi campus for placements. Nonetheless, the Kolkata campus did witness good companies such as McKinsey, Microsoft, JPMC, BCG, GS, etc.

IIFT; Cracking the test and the Life beyond

Placement Experience:

The college follows the legacy placement processes for both the summer and final placements. The most recent data depicts the average summer internship stipend to be 263000 for the period of 2 months and 25,16,000 for the final placement offers.
