I was to pursue MBA from the top college in India and VGSOM-IITKGP is in line with my career goal Faculty to student ratio is 1:10 All the faculty are the Ph.D. holder and have rich experience in various industries The pedagogy followed here is case-based and rich in analytics VGSom has a semester system (MID sem, End sem) and exam difficulty is at par

Placement Experience :

The placement process starts in the third semester and there are enough offers for the whole batch to get placed with prestigious companies in India. The average package is approx 19l per annum. Other placement details you can get from the placement brochure on the college website.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The ROI is very good in VGSOM and the fee hike policy is very minimum and the Scholarship is provided on the basis of reservation and academics performance With 100% placement and an average package of 20 lacs, the ROI is very good and the job offered to students are also of high standards

Campus Life :

The annual fest of VGSOM include PURVODAYA, and tech fest KSHITJ the both the event happen in the month of JAN and FEB. The academic subject books are made available to us at the start of the semesters and the IIT library as well as the VGSOM library have a plethora of books available. The classroom is well-equipped with projectors and comfortable seats. there are many ways you can perform extracurricular activities through the various clubs and committees available on campus for interested candidates.

Hostel Facilities :

The room has all the basic facilities available like a water purifier, geyser, separate balcony, etc. The quality and quantity of the meal are decent. The menu is very nutritious and you have the option to select between veg and nonveg.

Interview Experience :

We don't have any GD rounds in the process of the VGSOM admission process. Questions related to work-ex, current affairs, and statistics were very common The selection process of VGSOm starts with 2 rounds 1st is shortlisting of candidates on the basis of the CAT score and AR score and the second round is the interview round and then the final shortlist will be published. Regular reading of current affairs, and tails mocks before the final interview will be very beneficial
