About My college" Patna medical College"

Remarks :

For admission in any govt medical College, you have to clear the NEET Exam which is of 720 marks . Generally cut-off varies from state to state but if you score around 600 it will be considered a safe borderline mark First, you have to undergo the process of counseling where you fill in the choice of college you want and then according to your rank and category you are allotted a college The admission process will take one complete day if you have all your documents with you

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose MBBS because it was my dream to become a doctor and give my service at a low cost to improve the healthcare sector of our country. MBBS is a very long but interesting course, where you are taught about nonclinical, para-clinical, and clinical subjects too The faculty in my college are very nice and cooperative. They always motivate us and instigate us to study standard textbooks which will help us in future our teachers explain to us in a simplified manner what is written in a textbook We also have small group discussions in our college where we discuss briefly important topics with each other to make our topic more strong We have 3-semester exams, monthly surprise tests and proof each year

Internships Opportunities :

Like Every medical College, our medical College also provide internship for about a year In internship, you learn a lot You learn how to interact with patients And as our college ( PMCH ) has a lot of patient load so learning is great here

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of my college is very less as compared to other medical College across India In 1st year we have to pay 6100/- in college fees 4000/- extracurricular activities fees And 10,000/- refundable security deposit Which sum up to 20,100/- INR, excluding the examination fee which is around 6000/- Every year the fee Structure is more or less the same

Campus Life :

The social life in our college is not so good Its because the Bihar govt is still reconstructing our college so our ground is occupied by L&T . So we organize all our parties and functions outside our college in any resort or hotel nearby However Saraswati puja is celebrated every year inside the campus itself

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are also reconstructing, a new boys' hostel "jeevak " is completed with a capacity of 3 students per room The hostel fee is about 800/- per month Old hostels are redeveloping. Still, some seniors prefer to live in the old hostel because of a large room We have 3-4 mess in our college and you can choose any of them A lot of PG are available outside the college campus where couples and people in live-in stay

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as it always was a childhood dream of mine to become an able doctor. The faculty-to-student ratio is very healthy ( around 1:2) Faculties are extremely qualified and the teaching method is modern. Teachers teach with the help of projectors and slides as well as blackboards. Exams are multiple and moderately difficult to pass. You will need to be regular with your studies at this college.

Placement Experience:

As we all know medical college is not known for placement as such. But at end of the 4th year, the stipend is given to 20000 per month which is quite good. After completing an internship which is 1-year program person can join government hospitals or any other medical facility institutions or study further for pg exams. 60 thousand per month after mbbs . In Bihar government and vary state to state.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Term exams were held timely but results were not published timely. If students study regularly then it is easy to pass the term exam but if they are not serious about their studies and think that they can pass by studying one night before the exam then it is hard to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took this course because I was very fond of acquiring knowledge of biological science. And so mbbs gave me the opportunity to explore more about the human body. The faculty members are so good at nmch that everyone is hard-working and responsible. There are about 30-40 faculties per 150 students in nmch All faculties are either graduates or post-graduated from well-established colleges. And so their teaching method is quite impressive. The semester examination took place at a regular interval of 3 to 4 months. The level of question paper is kept moderate So, passing the examination is not that difficult
