Eligibility - Above 50% in Graduation and completion of bachelor's from any recognized university. Students in their final year of Graduation can also apply for the NMAT exam The exam conducted is NMAT, you can find the forms for the same on register.nmat.org. The exam is an adaptive exam for 2 hours with sections such as Language Skills, Quantitative Ability, and Logical Reasoning. The forms for the exams are generally out in August and have a window of 3 months to attempt the test The admission process was online owing to COVID protocols. The admission process was concise and smooth

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the course because of the rich pedagogy it offers and its unique teaching methodologies. Apart from the curriculum, the course is case-based which ensures the student thinks from every perspective and opines accordingly. The faculty-student ratio is almost 0.2 which is sufficient for an entire batch of 600 as it offers an experience to learn from all faculties. Most of the faculty holders are Ph.D. holders with substantial experience in their relevant industry. The exams were on time and the difficulty level was substantial as you need to cover every topic to go through the exams as most of the exams are case study based.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The roles offered are Interns, cannot clarify anything apart from this owing to the privacy policy of the University related to Placements. I am currently in the first year of my MBA and will be pursuing Summer Internship in the upcoming April/May

Placement Experience :

Cannot reveal details due to the privacy policy of the University as the details of anything related to placement cannot be made out. My plan is to continue with a prestigious job in Corporate life in the relevant industry of my interest

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The current fee is 23 lakhs and costs to study is high as the location is in core Mumbai and the rent is high along with daily food cost. No idea about scholarship, or assistance and cannot disclose the stipend owing to University Policy

Campus Life :

Paragna is the annual fest of the college where students from various universities participated. It involves competitions such as Ace the Case, The perfect candidate, Indian advertising league, etc. The college is equipped with a vast library and other educational facilities along with an e-library offering more than lakh books. There is a spacious reading hall for students to get well-equipped during their MBA life Not Just Marketing is one of the pinnacle core clubs in the college offering multiple opportunities in the field of Marketing. Summit is the Information technology club of the college meant for techies and offers opportunities to stay relevant in technology. Rangpanch is one of the best clubs where the student gets an opportunity to showcase their affinity for Drama

Placement Experience:

In the initial months of the 1st semester, we go through the summer placement process where 100% batch gets placed within a few days and the average stipend for this batch was 3.03 Lakh. The special thing about SJMSOM is that 50-60% of the batch gets PPO from the summer internships itself and thus for the finals only half of the batch competes among each other. The average package for the Final Placement is 28.88 LPA and the highest package is 54 LPA with 100% placement. Almost all top companies from FMCG to Investment Banking participate in the placement process and there are ample opportunities for the students to get their dream roles.
