Remarks :
The admission process was quite smooth. I applied through the CMAT score. There are several other exams too that Weschool accepts. My percentile was around 92 and the cut-off for the flagship course was around 75. The college's website has a lot of information regarding the application process and helpline numbers are also given for better understanding. The application process had a regress process of filling out the form first and then selecting the preferred course specialization. After selecting through the cut-off list, I got a call for The psychometric test which was conducted online to judge my behavioral patterns which was a very unique thing. All other colleges that I had applied for did not have any such kind of process. After clearing that test, I had my Personal interview scheduled which was on my preferred date. After the interview, they released a list of available spots and I got into the first list for their flagship course. It was altogether a wonderful experience. Thanks
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am studying for the Post Graduate Diploma for Management (PGDM) at Weschool. Our class strength is 61. The faculty members are great and focus on overall upbringing rather than sticking just to their own subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
I am not yet placed with any internship so far. I can't really judge that but my fellow classmates got into pretty decent roles and companies. The ratio between the internships the college has to offer and the number of students they need to get placed is disruptive.
Placement Experience :
The placement for the senior batch was a bit ok. The package offered was above ten lakhs. But if I talk about the internship opportunities for our batch it is not up to the mark. The roles offered are not that attractive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Currently, the fee structure is around 13 lakhs for the whole program. Plus the hostel fee is 2 lakhs for one year. My seniors had a fee structure of about 11 lakhs. The fee spike is exponential as compared to what the college provides.
Campus Life :
The campus life isn't that great as we have lectures of 2 hours each. Our whole day at the campus just exhausts fulfilling the attendance for lectures. Plus they don't organize any fests or cultural events which should be a part of every MBA college.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility is good but does not offer any meals. We have to cook ourselves which gets tiring in time for exams. It is well furnished flat with all the amenities. We share one room occupied by three people.
Interview Experience :
I gave a psychometric test after the application process and a personal interview. The process did not involve any complexities and was a general interview. They asked me about my educational background and just tested my general knowledge.
