Review of Army Institute of Technology

Remarks :

To take admission to the Army Institute of Technology, you have to fill out its application form which mainly comes out in June - July. Apart from this admission form, you also have to give JEE exams and the admission is based on these two things. You can find its admission form on its website aitpune.com . Only army wards are eligible to take admitted in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am a student of Computer Engineering course in this college. I choose this as this college is only for the wards of the army personnel. It has a decent faculty: student ratio. The faculty use advanced teaching methodologies to teach students. There is an In-Sem examination and an End-Sem Examination which dates are being fixed by Savitri Bai Phule Pune University.

Internships Opportunities :

Various companies come to this college to provide internships. Microsoft provides it to aprrox.15 students with a stipend of 1,25,000 rupees per month for 2 months. Cred selected 2 students for the internship with a Stipend of 1,50,000 for this academic year.

Placement Experience :

The placement of this college is improving every year. The average package for this year is 14.6 LPA with a median package of 12.5 LPA. This college is visited by many companies which majorly include Microsoft, Amazon, Deutsch Bank, BNY Mellon, Cred, etc. Approx. 90% of students got placed through campus placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, there is a fee hike policy in our college. The fees increase by 10% every year, which includes your tuition fees, examination fees, and many other things. Also, there is some scholarship for the students which includes Pragati Scholarship, Hashmap, Horizon, Udchalo, and scholarship for the best students from each branch.

Campus Life :

Various clubs organize many events throughout the year. As of now, there is a total of 24 clubs. There are 3 different Techfest named Solutions(Techfest), Pace(sportsfest), and Amthyst(Cultural Fest) as well as a yearly National level hackathon known as Innerve. Innerve is organized by the Open Source Software Club of this college which has a winning prize amount of 1,00,000 rupees followed by 50,000 and 25,000.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable they are very supportive if we find any difficulty from any problem then they help a lot with it. Exams are in every month and final semester exams are there If we study hard then exams are not tough. Negative point is that sometimes faculty say anything bad so it gets irritated.
