Sree Narayana College is a Private Institute located in Kollam, Kerala. SNC Kollam offers BA, B.Sc, and B.Com courses at the UG level along with MA, M.Sc, M.Com, and Diploma programs at the PG level. In addition to it, SNC Kollam also offers Ph.D. at the research level. For admission to BA, B.Com, and B.Sc programs, candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board of education. For MA and M.Sc courses, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognized university. Candidates seeking admission to the M.Com program must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks. For the PG Diploma program, students must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognized university. Candidates who possess an M.Phil degree by research in addition to a Master’s degree are eligible to apply to Ph.D. program For Ph.D., admission will be granted on the basis of the score obtained in UGC
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty: We have the best teachers, and they teach us very well. They are very lovable, caring, and helpful, and they have a lot of knowledge. The teaching quality was good. The course is not curriculum-relevant. All the semester exams are difficult. 35% is the pass percentage. Placements: 50% of students got placed in this course. The highest package offered is 4 LPA, the average package is 2 LPA, and the lowest package is 1 LPA. Digital Campus Recruitment is the only recruitment in our college. 80% of students got internal hp. This course is good and easy to study. The college should improve the washroom facilities. Many events like college fest, etc., are conducted here. Most of the students got admission here, and many students are working in different media. There are no placements from our college. Many news channels hire students. This is one of the best colleges for media study at Kerala University.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for students who got admission through merit is 12000/ yr for 3 yr. For management seats, starts from 1 lakh. The scholarship is available based on reservation. Financial assistance is available for backward-category students. No other extra cost. I have no scholarship since I am a general candidate. My friend got a job in TCS through campus placement. E-Grantz is a web-based solution for the timely disbursement of educational grants/concessions to all eligible SC/ST/OBC/other eligible students including fishermen, instituted by the Government of Kerala. UG/PG/Ph.D. students who are eligible for receiving E -grants Scholarships/fisherman Scholarships will be eligible for all state/central/university scholarships at the same time. The financial assistance reaches the student’s bank account through Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT). Campus Life :
Many facilities are available in our college. Wi-Fi is available, but sometimes, the range goes down. We have many labs like computer, biology, physics, and chemistry. We also have classrooms, a library, etc. Many facilities are available in our hostel. We get the best food from the canteen. Medical facilities, sports, and games are available. Our college is clean and neat. There is a good ambiance and good classrooms. There is no college hostel for boys near the college, and there is only a ladies' hostel. They are safe and secure, but it is hard to get admission here.
