Remarks :

Any person who is passed the plus two exams can apply for the BCom course at Mary Matha College Mananthavady. You need a mark of 85+ percent to get admission based on merit. You can apply for admission through Akshaya centers they will apply through Kannur University's official website. The admission process is a work-from-home for those who have scanners and printers in their home.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I will go for MBA as my PG so I think B.Com is the best degree for that. There are many teachers to control students, there are mainly three teachers for the B.Com department and two of them are Ph.D. holders. And there are five other teachers for languages. The teaching method of teachers was a symbol and easy to understand they will help us to perform well. 10 semester exams of Kannur University are easy to pass compared to other Universities.

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 1500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

At the time of admission, we want to pay an amount of 6000 rupees for the admission fee, pta fee, etc. And also we need to pay an amount of 500 + rupees for every semester's exams. There are many scholarships for students. E Grantz is 1 among that those who are approved for a grand scholarship and need only to pay about Rs 50 per semester for exams and they will get many stipends and extra money.

Campus Life :

Mary Matha College is a little bit poor in the case of events and extra curriculum activities But also there are freshers' days (October ). Food fest, Union day (December), Arts day, sports day(January). And also extra programs like Valentine's day, Holi, and other special days, etc. One of the biggest buildings in the college is a library and the library has a huge collection of books and journals which helpful to students in their research activities The classrooms in the colleges are painted in an average manner and the total set up is also an average There are sports and some extracurricular activities on campus after 3:30 at the students are allowed to play on the campus ground. The college has a huge ground. There are many social groups run by students in the college Insta life, NSS, NCC, socio club, and film club are some of them.

The main reason why I choose this course was the jobs that it can provide and my interest in accounting. I also want to be a businessman, so it may also have affected the decision I took. The faculty of the college contains about 80 teaching staff and 30 non-teaching staff. There are about 2000-3000 students in the college. Most of the faculty is experienced. Some have experience of more than 25 years. There are also staffs who have acquired PhD in their respective fields. The teaching method is fairly traditional.
