Remarks :

I got the management seat and there was not any entrance examination. The application form and every detail related to the application process can be found on the website of Nirmala College. Merit seats are available and the seats are demanded at high rates.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen a bachelor's in commerce with a computer application. I have chosen this because it would be useful for my career. There are nearly more than 15 faculties in our department and they are very skilled as well as student-friendly. Every faculty are a NET holder. Term exams are done at the correct time as per the university.

Class Size : 68Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

A lot of internships are given at our college. There are many guest lectures as well as other internships programmers. Hostel facilities are also given to them by the college. Internships are done every year and many have experienced internships in this college.

Placement Experience :

Usually, placements are given to students in the sixth semester. lit of students is getting placed in some of the companies and banks and many more. To my knowledge, 50% of students are getting placed every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have chosen a self-financing cost therefore I have to pay sem fees of nearly 12000 for each sem. Many scholarships are available for merits and much more. Much of the courses are aided and there is no need for any fees and the courses are cost-free

Campus Life :

Life at Nirmala is very good. There are many fests like college fest union inaugurations, department inaugurations, department fests, and many more. More than 1000 books and journals are present in the library. The classrooms are very good and so many clubs including an art club music club dance club film club etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested to build a career in Commerce and Finance. There are not many knowledgeable faculty. Everyone seems like using very old methods. Teaching methods: It's just the same as it was 50 years before. Nothing has changed. If you ask the faculty any doubts, they will reply to Google..! Exams are very easy to pass- especially the internals as I was in the good book of the staff. So I did not have any issues with the internal exams. If you are in the bad book, you need to struggle to pass University exams as you will not have enough marks for the internal exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is based on accounts and marketing etc. There is required faculty to guide students with a HOD which means the head of the department. Faculty are supportive and motivated. Teaching is done through using teaching methods and other using other technologies like projectors etc. Exams are conducted every 6 months in between the 3 years.

Academics I'm studying computer Engineering to get placed. 8 out of 10 teachers don't know how to teach, they just read ppt, while some are great and focus on concepts and visualization.

The main reason why I choose this course was the jobs that it can provide and my interest in accounting. I also want to be a businessman, so it may also have affected the decision I took. The faculty of the college contains about 80 teaching staff and 30 non-teaching staff. There are about 2000-3000 students in the college. Most of the faculty is experienced. Some have experience of more than 25 years. There are also staffs who have acquired PhD in their respective fields. The teaching method is fairly traditional.
