Bishop Kurialacherry College For Women, Kottayam is named after the Servant of God, Mar Thomas Kurialacherry, the first native Bishop of Changanacherry. It was found in the year 1965 by the SABS Congregation. The NAAC report has specially complimented the college for its pioneering efforts in the field of women’s education. The College campus spread over 107147 sq. mt. which is situated in Amalagiri a suburb, 10 kms away from Kottayam , about half a kilometer north of Caritas – Medical College road , on the Medical College – Mahatma Gandhi University road and about 1 km. west of M.C. Road. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and was upgraded in 1980.

  • For aided programs in B. K. College, it has an additional Community Quota - 10%  and For Self- Financed Programs, the management gets 50% of seats and 50% of seats are for Merit.
