Remarks :
I got into the college on a management basis. Anyone who has acquired a per cent of or above is eligible. All the details regarding the application can be found on their website. There are reservation benefits for OBCs and others. As it is a Muslim management college, more priority is given to Muslims. The admissions process is fast and smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The main reason why I choose this course was the jobs that it can provide and my interest in accounting. I also want to be a businessman, so it may also have affected the decision I took. The faculty of the college contains about 80 teaching staff and 30 non-teaching staff. There are about 2000-3000 students in the college. Most of the faculty is experienced. Some have experience of more than 25 years. There are also staffs who have acquired PhD in their respective fields. The teaching method is fairly traditional. The time of the term exams is controlled by the University of Calicut and not by the college. The difficulty of the exams is medium
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of the college is one of the cheaper ones. It is 8000-10000 rupees for each semester. There wasn't any kind of fee hike for the past 6 years. I haven't received any kind of scholarship or financial assistance as I really didn't need any. But there are many National and state scholarship programmes for helping the students. One of the issues of the college is that there hasn't been any kind of campus recruitment or not that I know of. There hasn't been any for the past 4 years. It may change in the future.
Campus Life :
There isn't any tech fest in the college as it is an arts college. The annual fest is generally conducted in the month of December. One of the key features of the college is its spacious library and the enormous amount of books that it contains. It contains books related to any of the subjects in the college and even the books are updated frequently. The classrooms are basic. All the classes have projectors in them but only a handful are smart classes. There isn't much more to the classes. It has a big football ground just outside the campus. There aren't any other grounds or courts for other sports. The college has produced participants for other programmes such as youth fest and others. There aren't any other extra curricular activities. There are different clubs such as Health Club, Fine Arts club, Psychology Club etc. that are run by students on campus. There were other activities too. But the pandemic has disrupted everything. Now it is being started from scratch.
